Well she's crashed twice now. Admittedly I don't know anything about skiing, but all I heard before the Olympics was how great she was. Maybe I thought she was supposed to win more than one race because of all the hype. It was just a question. My bad.

Well, i don't think she's in the Olympics because she's hot. She could just do Playboy, if that were the case.

yeah, I see what you're saying but I think I've just resigned myself to the fact that even though Wilco shows may be considered mellow, they're still not the symphony. I just kind of go with the flow these days. And I've pretty much decided I prefer the air guitar playing frat guy to the girls in the row in front of me who talk to each other the entire show.

Really? when's the last time you went to a rock concert? There have been morons/discourteous assholes/talkers/crowd singers at every show I've ever been to. Just something I've come to expect and for the most part have gotten over. Specifically Wilco related, tho, I have not sat at one show, ever. And I've seen them in seated venues, outdoor venues, and bars. Not one person has ever asked me to sit down. Now I will say that I don't get balcony seats, so that could be the reason.

How disgusting. And sad. I remember my pediatrician very fondly, a real grandfatherly type. I can't even imagine.

hee! I don't know if Will Call helps or not. My Richmond tix are will call (only option I was given) but I've still seen tix for that show on Ebay. Not as many as the other shows, but still a few. There is a 'store' on Ebay called Ticket Boat asking for $550 for 2 Durham tickets, Row K I think. Outrageous.

So I'm guessing it's not the teenagers who are buying up tickets and selling them on ebay then. Or maybe it is...

I thought Queen Latifah sounded horrible, like she hadn't practiced at all. And I usually like her. Not even going to comment on Carrie Underwood because I couldn't get past that outfit she was wearing. (and sorry, I know this doesn't have anything to do with the halftime show)

I want to say that SarahC has seen Wilco there, but I'm not 100% sure. My friends in Atlanta mentioned in the past that it's one of those venues where people sit around and drink wine and shit. I think it's where the symphony plays? Not exactly where I would picture MMJ playing. Or even Wilco for that matter.
