oh man, M Chris - I have been there. And my mother in law is a sweet lady and my ex husband is not a bad guy, just has a lot of problems......talk about uncomfortable. I went through that scenario just last December, when I took Em out to stay with my ex-MIL for a week.

well, some people don't have that luxury......and with cuts to student aid, and other educational programs, it may be even more of a luxury than it is now.

did you get that off the Jewish scarf site? I have a couple of those huge scarves that you can wrap up like that......one of my oldest, best friends was practicing Orthodox for awhile and she would show me all kinds of neat ways to do scarves.....she is now backsliding, but still has all those cool scarves.

we had a nice weekend......as mentioned in the last thread, celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary with a ballgame at the Kane County Cougars......where we saw this stupid mascot type performer (not the KC Cougars mascot)......here is he, right before he proceeded to take the 3rd baseman's glove and chuck it over the left field wall into the trees......the kid behind us said, "I don't think that was supposed to happen" and Graham said, "act or not, that made me uncomfortable." It was very odd. It was indeed an act......but, yes.....uncomfortable.

we only survived until the 6th inning today at the Kane County Cougars - Midwest A League ball......it was deathly HOT.....and wow minor league ball is a trip......I will let Graham tell the tale of Birdzerker, the advertised entertainment......oy vey.

nope.....only in March once, and it was pissing snow and freezing cold. Luckily, I wasn't there to do any outdoor activities.. -- gotta add......props on the run cryptique!! And in that heat!! You are doing better than I am. I did the exercise bike for a lame 15 minutes, 2 nights ago, heard a loud CRACK/POP in my bad knee, slowed down a bit and then finished with a sore knee.......I hate my knee.

stay hydrated out there today Lou......I can imagine a music fest would be pretty trying in this heat.

Man, I thought Ann Arbor would be cooler than Chicago.....when I think "Michigan", I think cool lakes and green trees.......I just walked outside here and you could cut the air with a knife. I know my hope for a cool front by 2pm is not likely to come to fruition.

I had a nice afternoon at my class..... I am all signed up for my fall class We now need to run errands and then maybe I will work on sanding the table I am working on.......tomorrow? 1st year wedding anniversary and minor league ball!
