yeah, I would think mounting a butterfly would be against the rules, seeing as it would kill it And if we're talking mounting in the other sense? I am not quite sure how one would do that......

I just bought tickets to our local minor league baseball team for some wedding anniversary fun......wow, a lot cheaper than a day out with the Sox! The Sox aren't in town - though I am looking forward to this. Maybe Graham will get me one of these!!

I feel pretty much the same way......that said, I do like Sufjan and he has some real gems. I will never sell my copy of Illinois, for the mere fact that the song, "Come on Feel the Illinoise" may be one of the best songs I have ever heard. -- ....I love the Arcade Fire, been listening to them a lot lately.....would love to see them live.

I am eating my lunch that Graham packed for me.....I always feel warm and fuzzy when he packs my lunch. It makes me feel so loved

this morning I was waiting for the bus and as it approached me, it slowed down, I went to get on it and.....it drove away. I wanted to throw my purse at it, but of course didn't want to lose my free coffee coin or my ID. I was not happy.

there are no hotels near the Loop within walking distance.....however, you can stay in Clayton (though it's pretty pricey) or the Central West End. There is a Days Inn on Lindell (Central West End) which isn't too far from the Loop and in a nice neighborhood with cafes and shops. Don't know how much it costs though. i assume it's pretty pricey. Going a little farther, but likely cheaper - there is a Red Roof Inn on Hampton and I-44. It would not be too difficult to get to the Loop from there. I believe there is also a Howard Johnson's there. I know STL like the back of my hand....PM me i

yeah, it's not bad.....I really do enjoy the Metra ride and can kick back with a drink and a book and relax. You can even take beer on the Metra if you wanted to......I haven't done that though It is pretty nice - I also like having a parking space, the mom and pop shops in the various local downtown areas, the ability to go to the store at any time, people don't get shot on our street (well, not since we've been here anyway) the fact I can walk 10 feet and be in a nice grassy area, and room to do some gardening. My daughter is now able to go outside and play without worry. She has already

holy crap. thanks for posting that.

yeah, Lombard/Glen Ellyn - where have you been? ....and for the record, I am a fan of the Metra - it is a nice relaxing ride to and from work.
-
I expected this to be a Metra train on first glance at the headline. They don't have a very good track record (no pun intended)......that is what I take nowadays.......
