  1. yeah, urban's a fantastic guitar player. my listens to country radio a lot so when i'm in her car i'm subjected to this crap. but i kept hearing keith urban songs & really liking it. i broke down & bought his last album. it's very enjoyable.
  2. wow. i really liked this. i also like keith urban.
  3. yeah, i wouldn't really argue with you. i never saw dylan w/ the band but i love everything he did w/ them.
  4. besides the band, that was his best backing band ever. they really brought out the rest in dylan. i miss those days. dylan seemed to just love playing with those guys. i basically quit seeing him live after those two left.
  5. my faves, most mentioned: rich robinson / marc ford bob / jerry mick jones / strummer charlie sexton / larry campbell - dylans backing band late 90's->early 2000's duane / dickey
  6. move it on down the line from warpaint is fantastic, especially live.
  7. i really like warpaint too. only album i don't like by them is lions. even then, i like a few of those songs live. miracle to me is great.
  8. the last album is flat out amazing. i was so shocked how good it was
  9. that is exactly why they're my favorite band every. i can listen to their old shit & it sounds just as good today as it did when it came out.
  10. no maybe about it. this is their best album. i'm so addicted to it.
  11. i'm almost entirely digital. i back up two ways: at home to an external hard drive (via time machine on my mac) and online with carbonite. $56/year is worth it to completley back up my music/photos/etc. cd's can get scratched just as easily as a hard drive crashing! i will still buy vinyl though. especially if it comes with a digital download.
  12. as big of a hippie/burnout chris seems, he sure has a bad temper! i find it amusing.
  13. i have no apologies for my total love of poison growing up. get well brett!
  14. excellent. i like the new direction.
  15. i just listened to that dylan album a few nights ago. i really like it.
  16. matt pond pa - the dark leaves liking this so far. typical matt pond pa though. nothing new but solid.
  17. exactly. living here for so long (either fully now or just two hours away when i was a kid) really makes a connection w/ the older records. plus, i loved the big guitar riffs & craig's half-singing/half-talking he had going on in the first few albums.
  18. i hope i do. i never listen to stay positive.
  19. morecowbell.net (solace's site)
  20. me (live in st paul), solace & a few others i can't remember right now.
