listened last night. i dig why people like it just not the type of music i can listen to a lot.

ga was the first spoon record i heard (maybe some of gimme fiction) and it's probably the one i still listen to the most. i love the whole album.

someone told me earlier today to check this out. doing that now. first song, street people, kicks ass. i guess most of The Band play on it.

replacements radio on last.fm listened to the new spoon last night. i liked it but it didn't immediately grab me like GA did. i love that album.

but then we wouldn't have the awesome ballad: against all odds. i'm not joking either. i love that song.

totally. it's one of a few albums my wife & i like to listen to together. during the winter, we definitely listen to it weekly, if not more.

the ju ju hounds record is great but i like river more (though i've only listened to both 2x now!). check both of those out.

dan auerbach at first ave is near the top justin townes earle opening for isbell at hte turf in st paul. isbell was good but JTE blew him away hold steady - basillica block party, minneapolis. hold steady, hometown show = awesomeness black crowes - basillica block party. night before THS. i saw some more but can't remember right now.

i'm not a huge Low fan, little to lo-fi/slow for me but this album kicks major ass. great rock n roll.
