At an intersection near where I live, there is a Kroger on one corner, a Meijer on one corner and a Giant Eagle on one corner. I find Kroger to have okay produce. The only place I've ever seen fresh pomegranates has been Kroger. The half and half flavors are called "twisted" flavors, I think. And yes, Half baked is one of them. Or used to be? I know what you're saying.

The only half baked I know of/have seen in these parts is this one "A crazy concoction of chocolate ice cream and vanilla ice cream mixed with fudge brownies and gobs of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough."

Half Baked.

Oops, seconded. Glad it was a good one.

I sent an e-mail to the company to further inquire about them...here's the response I got pertaining to the Wilco figures.... "Thanks for your email. The Wilco stuff is limited to 1000 sets. You can book them on the wilco site already. They plan to ship June 15. We

The website says 6am chicago. And I'm pretty sure that because of the way the zones work, it will indeed be 6 am Saturday the 21st....

yeah, today's the first day they've been up for sale.

yeah, the one that shut the kitchen door?

Re: #1) As stated earlier, no worries, it has been saved from peril. Also, it's a plastic bottle.... Re: #2) It's Buffalo Bill's(brewery in cali) summer brew. Pretty tasty, I might add. The orange flavor is more of an aftertaste than a flavoring. Re: #3) Yes, yes it is. And boy is that stuff tasty as well. The place I got it had both the pint bottles and a sampler pack, the remnants of which are pictured. In-Bottle refermentation is my favorite!

Thanks guys. My apartment is heated and none of my plants have started to crave blood.

That was for picture taking purposes only. It has now been moved to a safer place.

I now have a grafted cactus, a flowering cactus, an orchid, and an aloe plant. Do you have any tips or resources that you could share so that I can keep my plants alive and healthy? I should mention that whether they like it or not, they are being grown indoors. Thanks in advance. -fooln PS I have cactus, palm and citrus soil for the cacti and aloe plant, orchid soil for the orchid and plain old top soil for my zebrina plants.

hey guys, definitely enjoying Chicago. I have a couple more days here, so if anyone wants to hang out, let me know. Full report on what I 've been doing when I get home.

Thanks everyone for your help. I've changed the title so that it is long-term friendly. Maybe a moderator-type could pin it? I don't know. With the whole pizza thing...is there an original place? What about Giordanos vs Ginos? I won't be going to Uno's simply because I can get that here... I'll still welcome any more recommendations/things to try that people have, but it seems like maybe people are burt out on this subject. Thanks again and have a nice night.

Hey you chicagoans....as mentioned in ummmm, I will be in the windy city march 17th through 20th. I have a few things I would like to do(millenium park and the art institute) but mainly I will be roaming the city looking for things to do. Record stores, restaurants, concerts, galleris, coffee shops, any recommendations at all are welcomed. Where do I get original chicago pizza and/or hot dogs? Also, if any of you would like to meet up and hang out, that would be cool too. Thanks in advance.

So I just found out that the tickets from the "how to fight loneliness" forum I want are in Atlanta....anyone going to the atlanta show that would then be coming back to knoxville or somewheres in between Columbus, Ohio and knoxville? It's a long shot, but I thought I'd try.

wow, I don't know where to start. There are a lot of things to do and see all over the island. where will you be staying? I'm trying to get my pictures up on the web, it's just taking a while to sort through the 850 some that I took. For starters, I will say that it is very expensive and if you would like to travel comfortably without worrying about money(after lodging and flight expenses), 1000$ US would would be a comfortable allowance for two weeks. If you plan on buying gifts for people or drinking a lot, take more(ie, the cheapest bar in Reykjavik has beer on tap for 6.50$ us, but mo
