If anyone has 2-4 tickets, I'd like to buy. I got online w/ ticketmaster, got four tickets, THEN the login/password portion of ordering screwed me up. Seems I already had an account, didn't know my password, requested it, it never came in, then I lost them. I am beyond upset with ticketmaster as I got tix only to have them slip away through their ordering madness..... Sorry for the sob story, I'm just ..... Brian; brnchurch@yahoo.com

Couldn't agree more about the night's energy. My wife and I have seen them multiple times in the past couple of years, and although the setlist STILL resembles those shows, they seemed to have added "punch" in them tonight. Fantastic show, my enthusiasm is restored (not that it totally went away, but the AGIB tour lacked something that I can't quite place)!!! Highlights: Glenn standing before ITMWLY Indy's invention for Shake it off, even though Jeff said he didn't like it (although I think he was being... ) Clapping at end of Spiders The Lighting-very well done ...and Glenn TEARING IT UP

I'd like to see these too: Standing on the Moon-> More Like the Moon

For those of you looking for a place to grab a bite/beer before or after the show, I suggest checking out the Rathskeller. It is right across the street from the Murat AND it sits in the building built by Kurt Vonnegut Jr's grandfather (the Athenaeum). http://www.rathskeller.com/ From the website: set in the historic, 19th century Athenaeum Building downtown, The Rathskeller is reminiscent of both a quaint inn tucked in the Bavarian hills and a lively beer hall in Munich. Voted Best German Restaurant seven years in a row, even a true German feels at home here. from J

All I know about this song is I dig John's work on it. I'm following him around in my head as he's playing and it takes me places....... -
UP the REBELS and sean og and the rock!!! Unfortunately, we have a minor hurler from Kilkenny on our squad. We also got a goalie from Fermanaugh (?), mid from Mayo, and a coach from Tyrone...maybe we should play gaelic football instead! Anyway, haven't been to Ireland, but when I do, I'll visit Croake park, where WILCO SHOULD PLAY--do they have a good fan base in Ireland to fill the stadium.
-
Yeah, and to think that still today as when hurling started that these men put so much training, blood, sweat, and tears into a sport where, GET THIS, no one gets paid! Look at the stands in the footage, this is all about the love of sport and pride for who you play with and for! They all have day jobs, and keep sport as sport. True grit.

I am a member of the Indianapolis Irish Hurling Club, playing the best sport in the world-Hurling. I could go on and on and on (pun intended) about why the sport is the best, but in my daily search through you tube footage of hurling I came across a bio on some excellent hurlers from Ireland and at the 3 minute mark our very own Mr. Jeff Tweedy is showcased. My two favorite passions, wilco and hurling, come together....who woulda thought! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6TCIDdOkFg And on this link, Wilco, is featured at 3:25 mark with more hurling action than previous link... http:

My first was 11/22/1999 Vogue Theatre Indianapolis, IN--last time Wilco played Give back the Key to My Heart and True love will find you in the End, and I don't even remeber them. I was hooked after this barnyard stompin' show. High, High energy. 1. Via Chicago 2. Candyfloss 3. Summer Teeth 4. I'm Always In Love 5. I Must Be High 6. How To Fight Loneliness 7. Hotel Arizona 8. Red-Eyed And Blue 9. I Got You (At The End Of The Century) 10. Nothing'severgonnastandinmyway(again) 11. She's A Jar 12. A Shot In The Arm 13. Misunderstood 14. My Darling 1

Froggie, you are wealth of wilco knowledge, a gem for VC. Thanks my amphibious friend! Iglesia

The Black Eye insult was particularly infuriating......... Unless he was using reverse psychology and trying to get Jeff to play it in spite of him . Hell, look at the band Primus. If you're at a show, the anthem "Primus sucks" is a compliment. Maybe he was just trying to start a new Tweedy anthem. Don't know though...., and I too find most of the obnoxius comments annoying, but they do lead to some great Tweedy banter.

YESSSSSS, check my post for Purdue, I asked then, but got now, I'm not complaining.

I personnaly think it's because of the webcast, I honestly don't think it translates live that well. I have been to quite a few shows in the last couple of years, and the three webcasts I've listened to have been much clearer than the real thang.

Well I have to learn how to die, and be jealous of your early times. Did you say early times? Don't mind if I do. OK
-
Dude, Wilco better wrap up soon, K-Fed's crapping, er, rapping on Jay Leno tiznight.

I saw them recently at Purdue University and they did Forget Flowers, tonight is all audio. Just trying to pass along some visuals.
