I must have missed the discussion on how Arod has performed well in the post season. Must be the lack of lucky steak.
-
	Link?

Humans, generally, perform better in high--outcome situations. Any profession.
-
BTW, pitch selection matters depending on who's on base and who's batting. C'mon, if there's no one on base or one-two guys on base the pressure isn't higher?. A bad hitter will almost always be a bad hitter. He may get lucky once in a blue moon, but he still blows.

How come Arod has never had a "steak of luck?"in the post season, then?

Looks like the Nats are in on the Teixeira bidding: http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=ys-m...o&type=lgns

I think a salary cap would be a good thing, as well. Take note from the other major sports whom all use one, particularly the most efficiently run one: NFL.

	He's a failure in the post-season.
-
Don't be making fun of Arod's failures in the post-season. It's irrelevant because of how awesome he is in the regular season.
-
Maybe opens the door a bit wider for Teixeira ->BOS....
-
At least they didn't fuck with the "B". I don't mind the socks. It's only for Sunday/select games anyway.

I wouldn't call Dave Stapleton the greatest Red Sox in history, but yes.

I believe the surgery that relieved JT's migraines was called a "Bennettitis Extrication."
-
Probably "The drone" or "Banter," if still available. Or, "I've Got You."
-
I'd say it's harder to get away with in print. On air you can slur the ending. Anyway, don't think I won't cut you....

I'm just going on how I've seen the Globe and the Herald use the word.... It's easier just to say "He played for the Red Sox" rather than "He was a Red Sox (-ck)." Neither sounds right to me and it's always bugged me.
-
Red Sox is used to refer to both the team and an individual player. It doesn't sound right but it is, regardless of A Rod's phallic resemblance.

Me neither. Ask me on Thursday, though.

BOS to unveil new uniforms on Thirsday... "Purists, beware: Thursday, the Red Sox have plans to unveil

	"Dancing Queen," probably.

How is "pwned" pronounced? I'll need this phonetically, of course. Is it similar to "pawned" or "owned?" And if it is, indeed, "owned," then why use a p instead of an "o"? This has been annoying me for a couple of years now and I figured it's High Time I get some answers. thanks.

I like how casual the two guys are about it. I bet they finished talking about the shiney new nickel one of them just got out of the soda machine change slot before checking to see if she was still alive.

I'm pretty sure that's how the wicked witch went out in the "What a world" scene.
