Nina has covered a lot of great tunes and I've never heard a poor version of one of her covers. She never fails to put a unique and heartfelt personal touch on a tune, imo. She nails Dylan particularly well, too. ed. not that you are unaware of this, just musing out loud....

I don't think so. He was given a 4 or 5 game suspension and appealed it. Plus, I think that was a regular season game (cusp of post-season play). I remember the Umpire's union threatened to walk out on the playoffs but the collective bargaining agreement would have held them to work. Typically, Selig waffled on the whole thing. Alomar should have been immediately suspended.

Rarely do players serve suspensions immediately in the regular season, even. They almost always appeal in the hopes of reducing the sentence and buying some time for adjustemnets to the roster to be made in their absence. Definitely something that would carry over to next year.

Most definitely. It's the first thing I think of when music and Shea are mentioned. Fantastic album. Weren't The Clash opening for The Who at the show mentioned above? Also, what makes this Clash show so much better than others I have? Not a rhetorical question, I'm curious is all.
