Jeff said they would play charleston every year during his show last summer so maybe they will head back there as well.

It is funny how everyone took my topic as a put down vs a comparison. Music is music and it might have sounds familar to other artist songs etc........ I just like keeping my ears sharp.... Radioheads In Rainbows Faust Arp has to be a tribute to Blackbird as it is so similar. but it is just my opinion..... But u are right SOmeone elses song sums it up very well........

I assume it is more in tribute form. But even my wife heard it from another room and came back and asked what song that was and I said the new wilco song and she said it sounded like My Sweet Lord. If you listen to song closely it has a similar timing etc. With this said I thought Incredible Germany was more a tribute to Duane Allman and Dickey Betts with the slide guitar sounds.... U2 new album has a song that has beatle tune in it as well. hard not to include them into your sound. Radiohed In Rainbows had song with Blackbird all over it..... I am so hooked on BOn Iver since seeing them in charleston last summer. I hope they find lots of success. I wish they would tour summer in US instead of Europe. I rate them as the best new band out there. Go see them if you live in Atlanta or Florida in first of june.... Mount Veron for President...... So anyone like My Sweet Lord from the new album????? $250 for a good ticket u got to be kidding me.... $177 in Reno Wilco for 40 minutes ....... Think Neil suffered a little to much $$$ mania when he had his Brain problem a few years ago.....

I never seen so much liquor and beer at a show.... and Jeff said put in a center aisle so everyone doesnt have to have folks marching past them etc....... Horns were not in sound at all. Might as welll not been there. Otherwise thought the band was on and am impressed with drummer. He earned his pay last night....

Just spoke with venue about camera and they said no problem with non professional cameras. also said the schedule was wilco at 9 but could be earlier. Guess tonights the night.....

Hey they will burn down the PAC tonight with no curfew in place. They just had to warm up for us down there in Jaxonville.........plus sc will stand all night and not be asked too. First time I saw them Jeff had to get the crowd on their feet cause it was such a nice venue and he had on a red suede jacket. Looking forward to a fun show with lots of highligts as I have never had the horns at one of my 5 wilco shows.

looks like Charleston will get horns and show worth the cancelling.....

Talked to the venue today and the start time is 8pm. I asked if there was an 11 pm curfew and he said no. So that means they could play as long as they like. I had no problem missing pumpkins as I know he doesnt have but maybe on original member beside billy. Hoping the horns hang around. I got to see original little feat back in 70's with tower of power horns and it sure made for a fun show. Hotter then blazes as I was hoping to stop at beach for a swim before show but not if its 100 ooutside. They also said traffic should be easy in and out due to small crowd. Boss is in the big house

so will the horns make it to charleston???? ticket says 8pm february 29th....... I gave up smashing pumpkin tickets......

so what time wilco hitting stage. anyone listen to Bon Iver???? sounds interesting. Just gave up pit tickets for smashing pumpkins. never seen them but wonder if others think they put on a good show.....
