my only qualms about this album are the song titles (what happened to Lullaby for Rafters and Beams? that was a flippin' great title, and some missing parentheticals that I liked [Maybe the Sun] for track 1, and the fact that Patient With Me has two words tacked on the front that just don't do it for me). i liked with AGIB how the title was imbedded in the tune. my first reaction was "wtf agib?" and then I heard Theologians and I thought it was genius. As to LNGCA, I figured it might not have made the album, just because (like Kicking Television), it simply is hard to do in the studio. T

What irks me most about it is Cline's second entrance...he decides to play some insane mode and it ain't so rocky. But it's a great version.

So the preview scared the shit outta me. Probably not a wise choice for a movie, then? The reviews have been raving, but my friends didn't quite warm up to it. Maybe it was because they were expecting a fairy tale fairytale. It that makes sense.

I know Kucinich (D-OH) has introduced a bill to cut off all funding, but obviously it's not going to get anywhere. Moresover symbolic, but the point remains: Congress needs to reassert its authority over the President. Take back the war powers. Take back what the President has slowly drained from you since the 60s. It's the only way for this kind of stuff to stop. And get the public to not think Congress is a shithole. That's harder, and the media is partly to blame.
