Yup, they came as double-cut for awhile.

I had my March 2005 Guitar Player (Nels on the cover) signed by Nels at a solo show. I remember when I asked him to sign it he was like "oh, haven't seen that in awhile" and signed it. Glenn also signed my copy of Mobile. I'll never ever sell them.

This is pure soul.

Haven't watched it, but reading it was awesome.

Casino Queen > We've Been Had > Monday (or in any order of the three) Sure, it's a one-two-three punch but it's still unmatched.

Ditto. After a lot of playing my top 4 has shifted quite a bit. It looks like Ike, Marth, , and are up top for me. I put spoilers in case people don't want to know the final unlockable characters... It's still damn hard to beat level 9 characters...I lose a lot of 4-man free for all brawls and usually win (but not by a lot) in 1v1 matches. I've lost a couple because some of the over the top levels randomly kill me. That's the only real complaint I can level at this game - too many items and stages have random "You Lose" parts to them. Of course, it keeps the game interesting, but i

A little too serious there, eh?

Oops, either way you can just move it up two or change the tuning. I made a mistake...I have no idea as to what I was thinking.

It looks more "new" than anything but it's definitely a jazzmaster. It's not his old one, either. If you look at pictures of his '59 that he beat the hell out of for the ten years it has three painted/whatever dots on the headstock, while the new one has two. Also the old one has a giant chip in the headstock, while this one does not. I can almost conclude that they're different, but I can't rule out that Nels heavily re-modded the Jazzmaster...which would be sad because I love how his Jazzmaster looks like it went to war.

I really don't get what he's tootin' his horn all about. Yes, mp3s are shitty sounding, but it's a fact of life. It's analogous to recording stuff onto a casette from the radio or whatnot from, say, 30 years ago. Complaining about them won't get rid of them. They're always going to be around and the more musicians toot their horn the less likely people will actually give a damn about it. There's missing "sound" from shitty recordings but their vibe is unparalleled. And plus, if the shitty quality stuff is getting him business (through shows or otherwise), I don't see why he would care s

Ted Greene I don't see how any of you could have left him off your lists.

Favorite/Best Lo-Fi/Home-Recorded albums

Iron & Wine - The Creek Drank The Crade Bruce Springsteen - Nebraska I don't think ITAOTS is home-recorded...though it feels it? -
I've played it for about...oh...6-7 hours tonight since I got home and I still think Lucas is my man. I like his feel better than Ness's, and the moves are a little more suited to me (+ talking snake ftw). My top 4 are Lucas, Pit, Squirtle, and probably Snake or Captain Olimar. Except for a few instances (Wario, King Dededede (too many des?)) everyone is virtually equal. It's obvious that Sheik, Fox, Falco, and Marth have all gotten their due nerfages, but they're not in a "now-I'm-severely-underpowered" kind of way that killed Ness in Melee. I still love the N64 version best, but it see

I would be rich if I had a dollar for every time a news article outlines Wilco's background as "rising from the ashes of Uncle Tupelo."

Yup. Hofner "Club" bass.

These are all fuckin' sweet, man.

That's awesome.

I've always done DADDAD for Radio Cure, the 3rd always sounded a little weird in there. Sometimes Pot Kettle Black works the same way, but now it doesn't so bad to me. As far as I can tell: IATTBYH - Standard Capo 2 Kamera - DADF#AD Radio Cure - DADDAD War On War - Standard Capo 0 Jesus, etc. - Standard Capo 5 Ashes of American Flags - Standard Capo 0 Heavy Metal Drummer - Standard Capo 5 I'm THe Man Who Loves You - DADF#AD Capo 3 or EBEG#BE Capo 1 (or Drop-D Capo 2-3 for solo versions) Pot Kettle Black - DADF#AD Poor Places - Standard Capo 3 (or Bb F Bb F Bb D for the "rehearsal" version t

Top 20 Favorite Debuts Albums....
Gobias Industries replied to remphish1's topic in Someone Else's Song
The Beatles - Please Please Me is #1 everything else is just a jumbled mass in a pit of despair, though BoH, UT, Wilco, and a couple others I can't think of have managed to climb out...but they're not at the Please Please Me height yet. -
I seriously contend that Wall ball is a legit sport and needs pro teams.
-
Wall Ball, also called Ball Wall, Patball, thumb, or Wallsies is a type of ball game involving a group which involves the bouncing of a ball against a wall, and may involve throwing the ball or shoes at other players. It is a popular school yard game, perhaps owing to the simplicity of equipment needed, namely a wall and a ball that bounces, (usually a tennis ball). It is likely that these games are distilled versions of fives, American handball, and other sports that date back to Greek and Roman times, such as expulsim ludere.

I have played a little SSBB on my friend's Wii and it seems my man is Lucas. But until tomorrow when I get my own mitts to playing my own copy I cannot say for sure. ps the Gamecube controllers work sooooo much better, especially since I've played a fair share of SSBM already. In addition from what I can tell the characters are well balanced...not the whole Fox/Falco/Sheik unbalanced shenanigans.

"All you need to know are these Ten Commandments." "Ten? How about six?" Just saw the Tweedy clip. Pretty good.
