In progress, gentlemen.

I vote the Jerry Lewis option, I'd make an Muscular Distrophy joke but I haven't had lunch yet and making fun of people with debilitating diseases is a post-lunch activity.

They have to hit the Blue Note here in Columbia, it's a city ordinance.

Indeed

I think I like Summer Teeth the best.

Quoted for truth.

This thread has quickly grown frustrating.

Me too, I thought Jeff was Peter Criss' real name...

There's quite a few threads about this in "After the Show" the one I posted has a couple of videos I took at their show in 2/9 in Columbia, MO. They're great (the band).

"I'm in Delaware, look at me. I'm in Delaware." /waynesworld I kind of burnt myself out on Sufjan awhile ago and have yet to apply aloe to those burns.

Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before the Ship Evan Sank
H to the ickle replied to Chendizzle's topic in Someone Else's Song
Firstly, who is "Evan Sank?" But in all seriousness, this album is excellent (otlinchno for those of you of the Russian persuasion) and I will certainly be buying it when it is officially released (next week?). -
I once heard him say it was about his respect for people who feel so strongly about something that they'll burn a flag to show it.

Wilco covers should always be staples in open mic nights, I just tossed "Heavy Metal Drummer" into my set for kicks a few weeks ago.
-
Yeah, it'll likely be pretty cheap (10-15 bucks) and worth your time.
-
Jokingly, yeah.
-
I'm still hoping for "The Good Part" it would be pretty at home on a straight up rock record (if that's what they're doing).
-
I'd get one for sure.
-
I'll listen to any of the versions just let us know when it's up on Dime.
-
Weren't Canyon Arrow and Sentimental Lady just excellent live?
-
That was pretty much what I said to Mr. Stirrat after he related the tale to me.
-
I like "What Light" but I don't think I would like an album version of it.

Same thing happened at my show. Doors were at 8:30, so that's when we got there. The openers didn't go on until 10:00. It wasn't too bad, since the crowd was small and there were places to sit and drink.
