I'd upload the video of Sentimental Lady (which is excellent) but it's like 309MB and sendspace only allows up to 300MB. If I had any sort of knowledge about video editing, I could probably cut off the lulls before and after the song and have it fit, but I don't, which elicits a sad face.

I also have three good videos of Sun in California, Simple Explanation, and Sentimental Lady but they are all too big to post on youtube or YSI, any ideas (The largest of which is about 300 megs...).

I know this is a bit delayed but I'm going to post here anyway. I talked to John Stirrat at the Autumn Defense show in Columbia (two nights ago) where Pat was playing a similar guitar and just asked him what the deal with it was. Apparently Pat had one first and so John bought one as well (since they sound amazing) and then Jeff finally bought two of them and yeah, it is an old Gibson Folksinger.

After an official review of the recording (a digital camera video) of the encore and a quick google search, the encore was a Fleetwood Mac song called "Sentimental Lady."

http://www.dbpoweramp.com/ I use that to convert all the FLAC files I get from torrents and posts to m4a so I can put them on my iPod. You have to dowload separate codecs for the different file codecs but it's really simple.

Pat plays it and it's still really awesome.

I can't imagine them not being, though I didn't ask Pat or John when I had the chance.

Yeah, it was a great setlist. If my sister ever comes home I'll get those pictures up and possibly the videos of Sun in California and Simple Explanation (I think).

I just got back from seeing the Autumn Defense at Mojo's in Columbia, Missouri. I'll post more (probably) later, including a setlist (which I pilfered from the stage and later got signed by Pat and John). I also have a bunch of pictures and depending on their quality, a few videos taken by my sister's digital camera. The guys were all in top form and there was actually a fair amount of banter. This show took place at a small bar here in Columbia and it was dismally empty. I'd guess maybe 50-75 people were there, tops. To make matters worse, the sound system was acting up resulting in a buzz

Yeah, the Eagles suck and I watched the Big Lebowskie just last night.

That's the way I play all my songs and it is.

You called my bluff. I was hoping it would be a little further in the future and not rent week. Alas, another time.

I have being there on vinyl and when I'm privy to a turntable (generally when I'm visiting my parents') I've only noticed how awesome it sounds compared to the CD. If I found a Summerteeth vinyl I would buy it without hesitation.

Favorite Wilco Song to NOT make a Wilco album?

Nothing Up My Sleeve and Venus are two favorites of mine. -
After listening to this, I'm even more pumped to see the Autumn Defense in February.

I'd go with John as well some good guitar/vocal harmonizing would be awesome.

I've been playing the "In a Future Age" transcription for like a week straight. My roommates are starting to worry.

I'd love it if Tweedy would play KC. I live in Columbia, MO so it'd be a lot closer than his last show (Memphis). He should really come to Missouri/Kansas, I know a bunch of people who'd have a heart attack if it happened.

Well done man. Great song too.

I hadn't heard the one Brewinhand posted, going on my ipod with the other one asap.

Now that's moderation.
