  1. I've heard What Light a few times around town, though the weirdest thing happened today. I was order a pizza from a place called Gumby's (cheapest/best pizza in Columbia) and all lines were busy so I was on hold until they could take my order and they were playing "Clapping Music Variations" from Glenn's newest record.
  2. It's weird how that's a list about under appreciated music when a good chunk of them have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (whatever that's worth these days).
  3. Since when do people not appreciate Sonic Youth and Bob Seger?
  4. I would recommend "A Man Needs a Maid" by Neil Young. My dad actually wants that song played at his funeral and I'm going to do it for him, even if I have to knock my mom out in order to do so.
  5. You should put The Good Part on there (the Jeff solo version from the Vic would be an excellent choice).
  6. Excellent job fellas, now someone needs to put it all into a single post. I especially like the chord progression (a la the solo performance at the Vic).
  7. Too Far Apart should show up again.
  8. I was looking forward to actually SEEING John lay down the phat bass on the chorus. My hopes were dashed on the rocks of limited cameras.
  9. Also, where can I find a full version of their Sessions at West 54th? I had no idea they did one of those.
  10. Talk about translating poorly!!!!!!!111!11! har har har
  11. I just play it in drop D capo 2. It's like a D7 shape with some hammer ons, I may post it tomorrow if the mood strikes. There's a recording of me playing it that way at www.myspace.com/sansgoldengun
  12. Wait this isn't the John Petrucci board?
  13. A deep-fried cheeseball is delicious.
  14. I recorded an EP over the summer with a few friends under the name Norman, that stuff is here: www.myspace.com/notnorman I have my solo stuff here: www.myspace.com/sansgoldengun
  15. "Please Be Patient with Me" has done wonders.
  16. Write another song about Jenny Lewis.
