  1. I just love Anne Hathaway and I'm sure Julie Andrews was laughing her ass off at that skit.
  2. There are a lot more Obama signs than McCain signs in the town I live in. We went to another town about 7 miles away over the weekend and there were about 10x more McCain signs there.
  3. Sweet. I have an SUV, so it will be even more fun. What time should I pick you up?
  4. I saw it for $3.27 today. It almost makes me want to drive, just for the fun of it.
  5. I have greater trochanteric bursitis in both hips and for whatever reason it's flared up right now. It never really goes away, but with Motrin , it's manageable. I know what I feel like after I walk around town, so I can't imagine what I'd feel like after running. A few years ago I ran quite a bit until I got pregnant and developed the bursitis. Ever since then I have had it and haven't been able to run. My goal was to run the Chicago Marathon one day. My doctor suggests swimming for me. Biking is still too much pressure on my joints.
  6. Awesome. I'd love to run a marathon one day but my hips have other plans. I miss running. Good luck and we expect a full report when you're done!
  7. We are a one income family with 4 kids and I think last year we made about $65K. We have enough left over each month to put in savings. We pretty much buy what we want, go out to eat, etc. We don't have any debt other than our house and cars. It's all relative to where you live.
  8. Dude, your kids probably watch it. It's on the Disney Channel. Anyways, Edie McClurg does the voice of the squirrel character and she's always saying talking in that folksey voice.
  9. http://folduscandidate.com/ Here's a little tension breaker. Now you can just play with finger puppets instead.
  10. Here are my 4 (and Jay) This is Jay and Ryan: Austin: Jacob: Grace:
  11. Have you seen Shrek? It's pretty awesome.
  12. Oh crap, I forgot about The Brave Little Toaster. That's def in my top 10. My oldest son used to watch that movie about 3 times a day for a while when he was little. I love that movie.
  13. I do think Palin did better than I expected her to do. I don't seem to recall any major faux pas or anything like that other than her calling him Senator O'Biden and I thought she could have done without the shout outs. I was pretty impressed with Biden too. He didn't seem to lose his head or put his foot in his mouth that I can recall. I don't know if he planned to get choked up talking about his family, but it sure got me. I had a two year old in the room fighting to watch Blue's Clues, so my attention wasn't totally on the debate.
  14. There she goes talking about tolerance and equal rights again.
  15. I really wish she would just answer the questions already. This is going to get old.
  16. My top 10: 1. Toy Story 2. Shreck 3. Peter Pan 4. Mary Poppins 5. The Little Mermaid 6. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs 7. The Incredibles 8. Monsters, Inc. 9. Alice in Wonderland 10. Toy Story 2 Oh, and I always found Bambi and Dumbo disturbing as a kid. I don't think I've ever seen Pinocchio.
  17. My next door neighbor put up a McCain/Palin sign in her front yard today. If McCain is pulling out of Michigan, maybe I should pull her yard sign out.
  18. Oscar Wao gets my vote, since I already have the book. Re: Jodi Piccoult, I don't know that the guys would like her books.
