beautiful stuff. great description. tried downloading it from the main site but it's fucked. i haven't listened to NIN in awhile but the whole idea of an instrumental/"ambient" album called Ghosts is exactly my cup of tea.

"Birthday" was exactly the first thing i thought about when i heard the pre-release stream of the song last year. a great song to pay homage to. Walken was awesome, as always. The horns really add to the last big bangs.

bought the dvd in mid 2004 at Tower Records on 4th and Lafayette. i remember it playing at Cinema Village in 2002 but hadn't even gotten into Wilco then. i also remember thinking how awesome it was that some dude named Sam Jones decided to release a 92 minute "film about Wilco" bought it on sale for $20 bucks and sat down in Washington Square Park to read the nice, thick booklet. i thought it was cool that the film's shot-list was printed on the back cover. i've watched it countless times ever since and wanna watch it again soon.

will be watching this tomorrow been listening to London Calling a lot lately. that album never lets up. i can hardly get past Death or Glory from repeating it so much.
