I love CKW, I was so bummed when he passed. I need to get his new book that came out last month, too.

Starting the audiobook of this. It's 18 hours which is longer than I usually like to listen to, but Costello reads it, so there's that.

I have and I've enjoyed it for the most part. The pilot and last week's episodes were really strong, I thought. But I worry about its sustainability, concept-wise. It feels very in danger of becoming a victim of its own gimmick. It'll be interesting to see if they are able to evolve it through the season.

It's a collection of stories. Definitely good so far, I'm three stories in. But BJC is one of my favorite modern writers. She was nominated for a National Book Award for her last collection, and her novels are pretty badass, too. Kind of a modern Michigan equivalent of Flannery O'Connor.

I have loved Buck's solo albums, but damn I wish he'd make them available digitally. Hell I'd buy it in addition to the vinyl just so I could have it on my iPod.
