i punched my roommate my junior year in the dorms for telling me that "the beatles were the most overhyped band in the history of music, and if it hadn't been for all the media hype no one would ever listen to their music"... his girlfriend dragged him out of the room and made him "take a walk" until i left. not sure where i was going with that... but hype conversation reminded me of that... i'm a radiohead fan as well though

haha. yeah, i'm not one to discourage people from experiencing things, but through my various experimentations i've found you can experience pretty much the same thing without having to stick yourself with a needle and all that comes with doing so. but yeah. interesting direction the conversation went in this evening.

definitely sound advice. i'd add to skip heroine in general, not 'cause it's not an interesting experience, but because it is all too often not worth it.
