I stumbled across a band called Pronto on MySpace and judging from some of the photos, Mike appears to front the band. I think their songs are pretty darn good and he has a great voice (particularly on "Good Friends Have Gone") Pronto Anyone else listened to this or seen them live? Do they have a CD I can buy?

Dr. Dog is a great! Definitely worth it to get there early and watch their set.

Judging from the comments on the show, the energy, and the set list spanning their entire cataloge, it seems like it would make a fantastic DVD.

Chad Johnson makes the NFL fun to watch. His celebrations do not humilate the other teams and they aren't mean spirited. He is nothing like TO or Joe Horne. The guy has fun, is a team player at the same time, and is one of the NFL's best recievers.

I agree whole heartedly. I'm thinking that this 6 man lineup has huge potential for more sounds, more textures and more layers. Nels can create create textural sounds with his guitars and all his effects, Mike can do a ton with those keyboards and synths. I'd just to see something more along those lines. I love SBS, but I would like a change of direction with the next album, which I'm sure we will see, like we always do.

Saints really represented their already weak conference well tonight. Also...I predict Bengals over Ravens, 23-16.

They did back when Beck released Sea Change. They played on Austin City Limits together and it was great.

I am not going to this show, but I saw on the Wilco homepage (bottom right) a link that said "Now accepting requests for Millenium Park." Once you click on the link it takes you to a screen where you are asked to choose a song from a list (looks to be most all of them), say why you choose it, and include a message to the band. They also have a spot for you to fill in your name, address, etc. Thought this was pretty cool. Too bad I don't live near Chicago and school just started. What other band does this? None. Looks like this will be quite an incredible show for those of you going

Yeah, but I'm sure there are some people that would rather buy overpriced tickets in the front row rather than buying seats that are further back for cheaper.

That's the second time in 2 days that I've read a semi-negative thing about A Future Age. I know She's A Jar is a better song, but am I the only one that really thinks A Future Age is a great great song? And NathanB, I think that's a really good mix there.

I know a lot people don't like the lyrics to it or just don't like the song, but if I could hear one song from A.M. with this lineup, it would be Casino Queen. With Nels tearing up that riff, and Jeff, John and Pat all belting out the lyrics, I think that song would have some serious energy.

I agree there. I don't hate A.M., I just think their other albums are a lot better.

Summerteeth is my favorite Wilco album.

If I could pick anywhere to see them, I'd pick the Ryman.
