  1. Haha, so true. The Last in Line rocks just as much, no? I mean the first track pretty much says it all.
  2. How about that first Dio solo album? I mean come on, tracks like Caught In the Middle, Straight Through the Heart (some rad kick drum action), and Rainbow in the Dark. That album kicks major ass. Plus the cover art is quite nasty:
  3. The newest song on Foggy, Goodnight, Sunshine is really beautiful. Plus he has a sweet Steal Your Face shirt on.
  4. Just picked this one up... Really really beautiful stuff. And pretty good writing to boot.
  5. Only Love Can Break Your Heart Til the Morning Comes Albuquerque Revolution Blues Mellow My Mind Lookout Joe World On A String Danger Bird
  6. Nice, it took me a while to get into the whole Blue Cave thing (for whatever reason, I guess I was just more into the Cardinals jamming out) but I really dig it now.
  7. Would that be the Follow the Lights EP version or the RnR one? Anyway, pumped to hear the new songs once the show gets released.
  8. Anybody going to the SF show? According to the Cardinal Cave, they are gonna play a couple of new jams...Ima be on the watch for a boot.
  9. Hit to Death for sure. But also: Paul Simon's self titled one. There's Nothing Wrong With Love by Built to Spill Anything by Quasi -> not that their albums are underrated, just underexposed Big Red Letter Day by Buffalo Tom
  10. I'm game! (I hate that saying though)
  11. THanks for the info gang, but I head back out of NC on Tuesday. So maybe next time I'll be able to make it to some shows.
  12. Sounds like fun! And if you can squeeze Santa Barbara into Southern California, and I feel especially carefree with my gas usage, AND I get to miss some class ( ) I would be interested.
  13. Music Farm is a pretty legit little venue. I would love to see Built to Spill there. That's a shame they didn't go with it. I'm pumped for them in a couple of weeks. Plus Quasi is opening (!). Tis gonna be lotsa fun. Plus it will be my first show after turning 21 so I'm also looking forward to drinking overpriced beer!
  14. I think everyone is missing the point here: TM Skillllzz If Wilco can Text Message while at work for a television program, we can Text Message at funerals and weddings and while staring through the bushes at a window in our neighbor's house.
  15. Anybody know of any good shows coming up in the Charlotte area? I'm visiting family and would love to see some music while I'm here but I know nothing! Anybody got the scoop? Also, I won't be 21 for another 2 1/2 weeks so that could be a problem.
  16. I really enjoy all three of them including 29. I'll add that one to the list because it doesn't get much love, but I liken it to a grownup Heartbreaker (sort of).
  17. I got mine: - Saturday - Sugarcube - Story of Yo La Tango - Big Day Coming (I'm not saying which one) - I Heard You Looking I guess I have to stop now.
  18. Not sure if she has been brought up before but...
  19. Yeah, sorry that was my inner conservative 65 year old accountant escaping again.
  20. I payed 3.95 two days ago in Los Angeles and it is the first time I have gotten under 4 bucks in a very, very long time.
  21. Those are actually clothes? It looks like that one girls dress (?) was run over by a lawnmower.
  22. Long long long which is my favorite Beatles tune.
  23. That would make a great album cover.
