I really like the final chorus/ "The Ennnnddd" part of the The End. Lyrical that song always seemed to me to be like Oh My Sweet Carolina pt. 2 (kind of)

So after starting this thread back in April, I eventually got out of the rut...not too sure exactly when or how/why but it happened. I think that the stoppage started and because I recognized that that was what was going on, it perpetuated itself if that makes any sense. I think that by worrying over the fact that I was in a rut only made things worse and so after some time of not thinking about it, or not really trying to write "songs" and just play, I was able to get out of it. Yeah I thought the preamps were a great addition...and the price aint too bad either. I'm using Garageband (for the time being - I really need to get another hard drive to free up some space on my computer for something better) so the whole ProTools thing isn't really a problem. I think the next step after the mixer is to move up mic wise but I think I'm gonna go ahead and get this one. Thanks GS!

I'm thinking about picking up the Behringer XENYX 1204. Anyone have any experience with this? I basically just need a mixer/input into my computer...I'm thinking this will just about do the job. Any words of advice?

I'm listening to this band Deer Tick. I don't know if anyone has heard of them but I found them over at The Radio Cure blog on the right side in that playlist thing. I dig 'em, totally worth checking out.
