Finally, an Atlanta music festival in the fall!! Great music, eco-friendly, and camping on the river just south of Atlanta. www.theechoproject.com More bands to come! I'm excited, anyone else??
-
I'm also taking a chance to see them at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta next month ~ They were definitely worth a listen, so I think they're definitely worth a ticket! I can't wait to see how this crazy music sounds live
-
I've grown fascinated with the Basement Tapes recently, incredible tunes with a crazy story ~ I've read snippets of how this song and that song were recorded, but I can't wait to read the full story of this awesome collaboration
-
I never saw/heard anything about this show being taped, but I can't give up hope!! Does anyone know? Thanks!!
-
The list, along with this particular comparison, is ridiculous. Gahhhh what were they thinking??

Down with Wilco is the best random purchase I ever bought!! I found it in a record store, browsing the vinyl with no intention of buying, had absolutely no CLUE what it was, and I couldn't imagine life or my vinyl collection without it! I absolutely love it. Scott is the king of poprock to me. He's totally in love with Jeff and I totally dig that!! There are some really fantastic songs on this album... I would tell you the "good" ones but honestly I can't leave any of them out. Scott's lyrics + Wilco's music = WOW. Scott can be pretty out there and the vocals take some getting used to...
-
i've seen wilco numerous times since pat has joined, and i must say he knocked my socks off at bonnaroo!! He was just rocking out the whole time, throwing things, laughing... i was on his side of the stage. He gets me so pumped!!
-
Wow, your pictures are amazing! I especially love the pics of Regina (so darn cute!!!) and The Flaming Lips ~ WOW!! Can't wait for more!!
-
wow these are awesome, i want to blow some up and hang them on my wall!!!! fantastic job!
-
I have two Orchestra (row d) tickets for sale if anyone is interested or knows anyone that might want them for face value, email me at rachel2229@hotmail.com. My Mom and Sister bailed because of the possibility of rain ~ LOSERS!!! So I have their tickets, and would looooove to trade them for pit tickets ;p

tool was awesome!! they have such a spectacular set up ~ the lights, the screens, the lasers - almost a sensory overload. i've seen them twice in the past 2 weeks and was pretty far back for both shows but it doesn't matter at their show because the sound is always great, the band is SOOO on at all times its amazing, and their crazy artwork/videos are more than entertaining. simply stellar! i wasn't sure how tool would fit in with the crowd but i was pleasantly surprised to find a large, loving crowd! maynard showed us a bit of personality, and the jam with Tom Morello at the end was rock
-
what an AWESOME show!! that was the best set at bonnaroo imo, even with some technical mess ups!! Of all the shows I saw, Wilco was able to keep the attention of the crowd the best ~ during every other set, the crowd was constantly moving to other places mid-set. I didnt even notice that it was 100 degrees and i was covered in sweat and dust.... (just kidding, i totally noticed, but didn't care) I loved Jeffs recognition of our melting out there (maynard had to tell us how lovely his AC was during the tool set), and the whole band looked like they were having as much fun as we were! Pat's

YEAY!! Going, don't remember what kind of seats I have, orch somewhere... ~ IMO Chastain has the best sound of any venue (not saying its my FAVORITE, it just sounds AWESOME!) CAN'T WAIT!!!!
-
This is the pattern I've noticed: Morning show (5am-10am), Mara from 10-2, Sully from 3-7, and then Margot til 10. I've been listening way too damn much. It was a relief to finally turn off the radio and resume rockin' to my wilco cd's
-
it took a lot of patience and tooooo much radio listening but I finally got through and WON!!!!! PERFECT timing too, I'm leaving for bonnaroo in a couple hours so this was my last chance! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! ~~ I think it's a soundcheck performance. Also, its reallllly easy to enter on the website, 929dave.fm, sign up to be a friend and take a bunch of quizzes and surveys, rack up your points, and then spend them alllll on wilco (thats what i did, hopefully i can win another pass for my friend!!). ANYWAY, good luck everyone!!
-
oh yeah I saw they finally listed Wilco on the "friends of dave" thing ~ i entered every point i didnt know i had! another giveaway with margot tonight between 9 and 10. best of luck! i've been harrassing the dj's, so far it hasn't worked

I was having a great week until I found out about this show and found out how freakin' hard it is to get tickets!! I saw Guster last year with the circle of friends, freaked out trying to get a ticket in, and ended up with 8 because it wasn't hard to get one. So far I've been caller 9 and 13 (out of 20), when I'm lucky enough to even get through.... getting closer at least... For an "unknown" band on this station, Wilco sure does create a TON of phone calls for their contest!! Maybe dave fm can take a lesson from the phone overload and play more Wilco!!
-
I want to know the venue - I saw a circle of friends at Treesound studios, it was fantastic & I would love to see Wilco there! The tickets are hard to get.... but it will be worth it (if we can win) to have a small audience once inside. This is probably the closest I will ever come to attending a living room show!
-
I haven't heard all the details yet, only that there will be a private show and you can only get in by winning tickets on FM 92.9. Anyone else know more? Regardless of lack of details, I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
yous guys are gonna be sorry when the cubs break their 100 year losing streak next season and the new theme song is "what light"... and i'm going to laugh at you for dissing my team.
-
GAH I don't know what is cooler about this, playing that kick ass song or the fact that the CUBS WON!!!! Either way - freakin awesome. Chicago must love their boys.
-
they only press a limited amount at a time (100,000) to keep the quality amazing ~ my local indie record store only had 4 copies (i got there before they opened and was late for work to ensure i got mine! LOVE IT!!!)
-
I am under the impression that Chastain is ditching the "picnic" style setup for Wilco - if the tickets aren't selling, wouldn't it have made more sense to keep the picnic style to take up more room and allow me to bring my damn bottle of wine?! (a friend said the "picnic" style might offend Tweedy's rock persona if everyone is relaxin' too much - yet we HAVE to sit at the solo shows!!) Well, I can't complain that much - I'm going to bonnaroo the weekend before to see them
-
YHF vinyl, amaaaaaaaaazing! the first time i listened to it, i felt like i was hearing it for the first time. soooo nice. I never noticed any problems with the being there vinyl, just sweeeeet sweeeet tunes

Atlanta station Dave 92.9 has awesome shows and great dj's, I've requested Wilco and heard Kamera and I'm a Wheel. And, on the Georgia State University station Album 88(.5) I caught the end of Wishful Thinking. I love when it happens
