i am sure i will go, but good lord it was hot last time wilco played bonnaroo. i had hoped that i would never attend another concert where I was forced to take my shirt off in order to survive. oh well.

Kcrw.com lists band of horses as scheduled to appear on an upcoming morning becomes eclectic. Anyone know when a new band of horses album is due? i thought they were not going into the studio until March but maybe they will play some new songs anyway.

i like bright eyes but understand your point, which was debated here for quite a while. that m ward song was awesome.

my parents got me an odyssey, an intelevision and a commodore 64. i have been on my own every since. i do miss my intelevision however.

agreed. the game day audio is a staple for me so that i can listen while at work. i guess i am hoping that mlb.tv has upgraded their picture in light of their screwing to the comcast extra innings people. hopefully, they will offer some sort of free preview.

helton hit pretty well away from coors field the last couple of years and is good defensively with a high average. he just has no power and was overvalued by the rockies. if the sox do not give up too much, it would work out well for boston i think.
-
i guess helton to the red sox makes sense. but if they end putting both lowell and hanson in the package that seems steep to me.
-
i agree with that. the cubs hitting was so shitty after lee went down that they had no choice but to get some bench players that can actually hit. i actually started to miss corey patterson at one point last season.
-
i have tried to get direct tv before and it will not work because i do not have an "unobstructed view of the southern sky." i have no choice but to pay $100 to watch crappy resolution.
-
and felix pie. i hope he is good because i really like that name.
-
i know. the cubs are who i thought they were. it also seems they are in a pissing contest with Comcast. i might actually have to purchase mlb.tv for my computer, which i guess is what mlb is counting on for people who cannot or will not get direct tv.

i like this. and from what i have heard carl is a pretty good guy as well.

i am pretty excited about the poster as well. spiders, laminated cat, sky blue sky, theologians, gun and she's a jar were personal favorites for me. he looked and sounded great, which is always good news. the shouting between songs was annoying but, for the most part, there was silence DURING THE SONGS, which is the key for me. he also talked damn near half the show in memphis and did not appear to have a chatty audience to blame. the show was simply fecal freak-folk at its best.

i am four songs into the new album as my maiden sloan voyage. it is helping a dreary holiday work day tremendously. pretty funny that an album with 30 tracks also offers free download bonus tracks
