Brian Eno is producing the new Coldplay album

that's good if it works for you. their blandness is painful to me. -
i feel bad for you guys who lined up or went in for the pre sales and didn't get right up front. i'm row c and i got mine off the internet morning of the show. pre sales are almost always a waste, though, because they tend to just randomly distribute seats via them as opposed to giving out the best seats. anyway, you can see from anywhere in the palais but the stalls are best because of the steepness up top. my best tip is to bring plenty of change for the st. kilda parking meters.

at the moment, i think i'd name my child dylan- girl or boy. yes i'm a bob dylan fan girl

coldplay trying to co-opt U2's sound, perhaps, since theirs is beyond bland. ugh. -

Pearl Jam's take on "Love Reign O'er Me" is...
sister morphine replied to chriscolbert's topic in Someone Else's Song
i love pearl jam, and the who, but this cover... not so much. -
it SHOULD be my pearl jam live benaroya coloured vinyl 180g box set, or my signed powerfinger copy of vulture st, or something similarly valuable. but the truth is i cherish my battered, old, worth about three dollars copy of rubber soul the most.

they won't let you bring a camera into the palais. if they find it, they will make you cloak it, flash or no flash.

the stuff up with the press release saying tickets went on sale feb 19th nearly did me in... friends of mine missed out- thankfully my brother has a sharp eye and i got third row tickets for the palais over the internet. so happy that they're finally coming back.
