  1. Awesome. Now give us that Phish tour.
  2. I don't understand why some people don't like Please Be Patient With Me. It's such a sweet, personal, song.. Not to mention, coming from a guitar player, the fingerpicking work on it is remarkable.
  3. Not to brag or anything, but I picked Mr. Cook to win from the beginning...
  4. Yep, I knew he'd win. America picked their pop rocker idol, and David A. will go on to win his Tony.
  5. Fucking hilarious. Especially when he threatens his computer..
  6. Here In Higglytown (Theme To Playhouse Disney's Higglytown Heroes) Really.. My kids love that show.
  7. Vibes for your tinnitus. I hope you get well soon. You couldn't have picked a better CD for your treatment.
  8. Haha.. Nice.. Yucky Angry Music Ninja Blink
  9. I agree, and I was going to say that if it weren't for Dylan, there probably wouldn't be a Jeff Tweedy.. I mean, there would still be a Jeff Tweedy because he was born a musical genius, but I don't think he would sound the same.. If that makes sense..
  10. I'm just gonna have to wait to see what he has to say when they start the real debating.. The Dem Vs. Rep debates.. Then I'll make my decision.
  11. I'm probably going to write in my vote. I'm not voting for McCain just because I'm republican. He's a shady guy and I think a lot of other republicans would agree with me. I'm writing in Steven Colbert.
  12. My wife and I sort of have a tradition where we both go and pickup new Wilco record the day it comes out. I too will never forget the opening notes of Either Way.. Wife and I just looked at each other and smiled. I know, I know.. Aw.. how cute right..
  13. Maybe. I'll have to get with the rest of the members though to come up with a list of favorites. Awww.. No love for SCS? I think it's catchy.. And we could be any style of music with that kind of name.
  14. Awesome.. Even if we do settle on So Called Star, I'm goign to use several names from this thread for song titles.
  15. Dude, that's an awesome avatar. Carry on.
  16. Speaking of playing out solo, one thing that bothers me is that 80% of my songs are Wilco/Jeff Tweedy songs! I just can't help it though.. I just love to play Jeffs solo songs, and most of the other bands I listen to don't work very well acoustic. My setlist is like: Wilco Wilco Wilco Beatles Wilco Wilco MMJ etc. etc..... Oh well.. I guess as long as I play the songs well I think the audience will be pleased.
  17. Yeah, or on "Side With The Seeds".. The ending solo is just ridiculous. That's the song that put him on my list of top five favorite guitarists of all time. Hell, he's in my avatar.
  18. Ah see... You know what's up.
  19. Yes, I am using a G. I bought the E and the G just for those two songs (she's a jar and sunken treasure). The melody in She's a Jar is actually pretty easy.
  20. In my opinion, "On and On and On" is the best song on the record and one of the best songs Wilco has ever written (if not the best, but that's impossible to say) From a song writing standpoint, it's brilliantly written.
  21. I'm still going with David Cook. Although I only watched the two first songs last night, I think David A. won atleast from what I saw. But still I think America wants a pop rocker idol, not a little mickey mouse club/broadway star. But don't give me wrong, David A. is very talented. At this point though, it really doesn't matter who wins. Everyone always remembers the final two and they are both garunteed atleast some success.
  22. Thanks everyone for your creative, funny, and clever band names. I think we are going to go with So Called Star It's catchy and most importantly, it's not taken! Every time I found a great name, I would search on myspace and there would be like 30 bands with that name.
  23. Yeah, I plan to play out solo soon, and the harp would fill in the gaps. Right now I'm working on single notes (it's harder than it looks).
  24. Hmm.. I really don't hear the similarity at all. But I am going to listen to it right now to try and see your point.
  25. So I bought E and G harmonica's and a holder so I could play Tweedy style (accompaniment with guitar). I've got the harmonica part to She's a Jar down perfect, but man the part in the solo version of Sunken Treasure is hard! I guess just like everything else it's going to take a lot of practice. Any other harp players around?
