  1. There's a couple songs on the record that are probably some of my favorite all time MMJ tunes, but there are also alot of of clunkers... I didn't get into this record as much as I thought I would. I loved it at first, but it just never took off for me.
  2. Well that must be where Lucy gets her friendly personality. I was a little skeptical when we bought her because every Chihuahua I've ever seen has been mean, but she's not that way at all. Nice dog you got there. My wife wants one now.
  3. Thanks. That's Lucy, our Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix. Yeah, you would think a mutt like that would be a mean little ankle biter, but she's actually very sweet and great with the kids.
  4. My wife and I about to get our first mortgage. Congrats tugmoose.
  5. And I thought I was the only one on the board. Well, I think there's maybe one or two more conservatives.
  6. Sorry to hijack the thread, but I'd kind of like to do the opposite. I have a strat, and the two screws are tightened pretty tight, so when I use the whammy, I have to force it to get it to "whammy". I tried loosening the screws , which loosened up the whammy and raised the bridge, but then it wouldn't hold tune. Anyone know how to correct this so it will stay in tune? Would I need to install another spring or two to loosen it up, without loosening the screws too much?
  7. Yeah, the second season slipped a little and I lost interest in it.. But I'm still looking forward to a new season whenever that will be.. I'm willing to give it another chance.
  8. I totally forgot about these. I had one when I was like 6 years old. I saw one yesterday, and I just had to post it here. The Roller Racer
  9. On NPR this morning, I heard "Spiders" during a report about US Army Football players trying out for the NFL instead of serving the mandatory 5 years of active duty. NPR loves Wilco, that's not the first time they have played them.
  10. Too bad the version with the most songs is the itunes pre-order version. Not a big fan of itunes (refuse to install that crap on my computer).
  11. Yeah, I LOVE this amp. Both my band members and I were very happy the day I plugged this beauty up at a show. I use both the amp distortion and a RAT pedal to get the higher gain. It has a great tone that cuts through the mix at live shows, but yes, it does need wheels.
  12. I'm with you. I haven't even listened to the last two leaked tunes.
  13. Very cool. My new "side project" band will be recording in a few weeks, and I'd love to share.
  14. Good article: http://leisureblogs.chicagotribune.com/tur...lbum-a-sou.html
  15. I agree.. They look too inhuman or something.. You called it bro, but I'd say it's a 99.5% chance it's a hoax. Edit: I don't know though.. Several reputable news outlets have the story.
  16. Man, they look creepy. I bet they thought the airplane was some kind of giant bird.
  17. I'm so sorry to hear that rempish.. Haha totally kidding! Marriage is a great, great thing if you have found the right person. My wife and I are celebrating our 6th anniversary this Sunday. Congratulations!
  18. Happy birthday! Hope you're hangover isn't too bad.
  19. The board won't be the same without you. Good luck with your future endeavors!
  20. I've got a Blues Deville 4x10 that I use in my band. It's a great amp, but It's not great for low volume practice because the volume knob is extremely sensitive, and it's either too quiet or too loud. I think the Hot Rod Deville's are the same way, both 4x10 and 2x12. I would aslo recommend a Blues Jr. It's a great practice amp and still plenty of juice if you plan to play out.
