Remember this stuff from the early 90's? What we're they thinking..

Oh I'm sure there will be a song written about it.. You know, if you believe in karma/destiny and all that stuff, here's an interesting one for you.. I was supposed to move to Greenville, SC over the weekend. Something fell through with my job transfer, and my move was postponed. If I had moved, I would have ridden with the rest of the band to/from the show. Who knows, maybe I could have been shot.. Maybe my move was postponed for a reason.. No, I haven't been smoking dope, but hey.. My wife brought it up (she's all into karma/destiny stuff) and I thought it was kind of interesting..

Anyone record this? Wanted to watch, but fell asleep.

Keep in mind, this is the South... And especially for that area, there are a lot of gun totting rednecks around.. But you can't help but wonder (without getting too political, or turning this into a second amendment discussion), what if the other victim didn't fire back and stop him, and he could have went after a third vehicle?

Exactly! I have joked about that too with the band.. "Maybe this will propel us into super-stardom!"

haha yeah.. I ride to/from that show alone because it's only an hour drive from my house. The rest of the band lives in Columbia.

Yeah, and maybe they were pissed because we didn't play Free Bird! Exactly.. Yes, the band has many crazy stories in our 12 year history, but this one tops them all.

I asked the same questions, and the driver sped up.. The first shot hit beside the window, so at that point they ducked.. If they hadn't ducked, the shot that took out the window could have hit someone.. When the driver sped up, the shooter eventually turned off another road.

It sure was.. On hwy 165 between 17 and Walterboro.. Not the best part of town.. It appears that it was just random.. The band has been joking about it "jeeze, I thought we played a good show!"

Saturday night after our show on Edisto Island at about 4 in the morning, the members of my band were riding home in our drummers SUV pulling our equipment trailer. Well, someone decided to pull up behind them and open fire on their moving vehicle. They fired 7-10 rounds with two bullets hitting the vehicle, one taking out Ryan's (our singer) window and the other hitting above and behind where he was sitting. They are all ok, just got a few cuts from the glass, but no medical attention was required . As you can see from the pictures, they are EXTREMELY lucky that no one got hit.

The acoustic version of "Everlong" by The Foo.. Yeah, I'm not a big Foo fan, but that's just a great song acoustically... My wedding was great.. very small.. And for our honeymoon, we drove across the country to Los Angeles.. good times.. good times..

I have a meat grinder from the early 1800's and a Nazi helmet used in WWII (yeah, it creeps me out a little)..

Yes, last nights episode was kind of weak.. But I watched the Desmond episode before it, and WOW.. What a great episode.. Probably my favorite of the series.
