At his most recent show that I saw in Cleveland, Alejandro Escovedo had no cello or violin on tour as he has in the past, so it was more of a rock show and that's okay too. But I really loved the tour with the violin/cello. Have her check out this: Room of Songs - Alejandro Escovedo (Artist), Alejandro Escovedo String Quartet (Performer)

Happy Day, Kim!

I saw that, too. Chris Mathews was pretty relentless, but he has a point and she has really nothing to defend. Sad. But yeah, I'll bet she had no idea it was gonna be this bad.

Aw, thanks everyone! I miss you guys! I spent my birthday eve (Friday) with a tow truck driver after my car died just 5 miles into my road trip to see Rufus Wainwright at "The Venue" in Hammond. So the Toyota dealer says they'll put in a new distributor for $550 on Tuesday, which is weird because it's the exact same repair that was done 2 years ago when it died at the Sky Bridge toll booth on my way into Chicago to see The Decemberists. So today my luck was better -- I had a nice sushi dinner with friends and family. Now the good news is my sweetheart of a mom said I could borrow

Thanks, stickman - it is even more beautiful IRL, colors more vivid. Yes, I had a real great day in Chicago a couple weeks ago - picked up my "holy grail" poster, it had never even been rolled in a tube!!! I bought a new (used) TV for 80 bucks from some guy on Craig's list since mine died after 15 years (ha!) and I didn't want to spend $1000 on a TV because I just don't watch it enough -- AND I got to see Calexico perform live in full glory with mariachis and other guests for free outdoors at Pritzger Park downtown with my mom! She loved it!!! Chicago rules. Now back to RA. I hav

Doug, of the two shows I saw, Columbus and Indy, both were pretty punctual. So get there and have a great time! He seems to be playing Come Pick Me Up and Wonderwall early in the set.

"Summerteeth" - the NEW album! Google's 10th anniversary prompted me to google "Wilco" from 10 years ago ... and here's an old website (before my time, yeah). Actually, it was 1999 so not really quite 10 years. And they had a "board" http://web.archive.org/web/19991007103858/...eb.com/home.htm and a links section that lists "Reprise Records, Wilco's label...........great site!"

Sorry, I missed the sentence where it was said "for sympathy." So I guess the answer to my question was "for sympathy."
