Most Dangerous Professions
Wilco Worshipper replied to Wilco Worshipper's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
I hope you all know I was laughing at this when I posted it. I mean come on, I don't SERIOUSLY think I work in a dangerous job...even with the sciatic issue. I was talking about this with a friend of mine last night who's a firefighter, he just laughed and said we're not on there because we're more careful But inside I was kinda sad, because, you know, we lose too many of them. Anyhoo, that's a sad subject for another day. -

The way I figure it...the more they order, the bigger the bill and hopefully, the bigger the tip -
Forget stuntmen. Some of the country's least healthy jobs are in cubicles, hospitals, and restaurants. Are you at risk? According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), it's not just farm laborers or police officers who have high rates of workplace injuries and illnesses. In fact, some common -- and seemingly benign -- professions have high rates of injury and illnesses that were severe enough to cause workers to miss at least one day of work in 2006. Danger in Some Workplaces The following eight professions are among the highest in terms of injuries and illnesses, listed in descending

Now him I can get behind! I mean, ummm...

idk...his eyes do sparkle. But his mouth, DEFINITELY, he kinda twists it as he sings. To me it's like nails on a chalkboard...ugh!!! FYI: Sparkling eyes do NOT make him a do-able muppet in my eyes, just a comment is all EDIT: Not that wanting to do a muppet is wrong or anything.

Wow, I can't even imagine! Amazing that she's been up and walking already, shows what a strong-willed and spirited young woman she must be! Best wishes for a speedy recovery for Tara and for Dunja to breathe a little easier if possible...

Well, although, we've talked many times...I haven't officially met him yet. But the last time, I was sorta like "this is old hat now". -
I watched the videos for the heck of it and the one for "The Thanks I Get" is NOT the one that aired out this way. At least, it's not the one that was overplayed for sure.

Dr. Leo Marvin: All's I want is some peace and quiet! Bob Wiley: Okay, I'll be quiet. Siggy: And I'll be peace! "What About Bob?"

You're welcome! I'm looking forward to it, too since I was on my way back from the NBC Studios and didn't get to see the 11:30 show.

I have girls that are pre-teen and it's (AI) all the rage in school. Also, a majority of my friends are half my age and SOME of the music they listen to is just plain awful. I'm not saying I still don't like my hair bands and such, but there's music that makes you move and music that moves you. There is a difference. One particular young friend of mine used to have me read the lyrics and go "Ellen, don't you see it?!? Don't you get it?!?". It might be fine as a poem, but when the guy is standing their screaming his head off and wearing a mask that quite resembles Sir Anthony Hopkins in 'Sil

I took my girls and one of their friends to dinner tonight at my old job (Friendly's, for those of you familiar) and they played 'Impossible Germany' I would've been more surprised had one of my friends/former co-workers not already filled me in already, but it was pretty cool just the same. I made the waitress stop talking so the girls could hear...and they yelled "Wilco!!!". It was pretty cute. Sidenote: because of my friend listening to IG at work, he ended up buying SBS for himself
