I want someone to explain to me, why should we wait a year to fill the vacancy?

For all of the Right's complaining about how Obama subverts the Constitution, McConnell's comments fly in direct opposition to the Constitution. We could have 3-3 court for a long time. A couple of scenarios could play out. The GOP blocks any Obama nomination, a Republican wins in Nov.,the dems will block any nomination. And of course if Hillary or Sanders win, there is no way McConnell let's that go through. The Senate needs to do the right thing and advise and consent on a nominee. I am saying they need to roll over and accept anyone PBO nominates, but if they are a quali

Especially after his comments in 2005. http://m.dailykos.com/story/2016/2/13/1484831/-Sen-Mitch-McConnell-in-2005-The-President-and-the-President-alone-nominates-judges So Sen. McConnell's, logic is this. If the president is part of his party, he should have power to nominate whomever, if they are not, the American people should have a voice. Ugh. This is gonna get ugly. It will be interesting to see what happens on the campaign trail and especially interesting to see a what Senators Rubio, Cruz and Sanders do.

It was also on all the Major News morning shows. Ugh.

Baby Monkey Dog? Or I liked the avocado with Scott Baio as well.

Didn't get to watch. But from what I read Marco said the same thing over and over, nary an original thought came out of his head. Anyone catch Sanders on SNL

http://www.motherjones.com/mojo/2016/02/marco-rubio-very-upset-president-obama-went-mosque http://www.vox.com/2016/2/4/10918372/marco-rubio-muslims-media I suppose in all fairness this isn't "racist" but Islamophobic. But 6 of one half dozen of the other.

Really? I am not from Florida, so I don't get much exposure to him outside the National Media and presidential stuff. He seems like an empty suit and kinda bland (which is probably why the GOP establishment likes him.) Also it appears he willing to be a Trump lite now as well in order to woo Trump supporters back to the establishment. If Trump is your racist Uncle, Rubio is his racist son, he just says things a little nicer.

I mentioned this before, but I do think either Clinton or Sanders will beat any GOP candidate out there. But which do thing will have a better chance of being able to govern? Bernie's policies are great and all, but are they realistic with this congress and in this political climate? Is Clinton more or less likely? I do think if Sanders is the nominee he will bring in new / young voters, who did not vote in 2014, which might have the possibility changing congress. I don't think Clinton will bring in many young people, as they will be disillusioned with a Sanders' loss.

That is the narrative he represents (which as you pointed out is false). But to his supporters that is his biggest appeal. There are so many things in his past that the media could go after. I am not sure what they are waiting for.
-
I guess that is the appeal of Trump. They guy is already rich and can't be bought. It is too bad that he is such an asshole and he probably wants to bang his daughter.

So Mr. Trump has kinda gone off the rails again. He seems a lot less gracious the day after the caucus then he did in his speech. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donald-trump-ted-cruz-twitter-iowa_us_56b20e77e4b08069c7a59077?oa3ba9k9 Dare I say this is the beginning of the end of Trump's candidacy? Also on the Dem side it is getting a bit pithy with the debates. http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/dem-primaries/267942-sanders-wont-debate-thursday-unless-clinton-agrees-to-future This whole thing needs to be laid at the feet of Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Worse Democratic Chair

It really is how you spin it. Ben Carson said his campaign has never been stronger. Really you say last night was a win for Bernie. He came pretty close to defeating Hillary. He has the momentum. A 3rd place for Rubio is gonna rocket him up to the top. The Iowa caucus mean nothing in the grand scheme of things. You can ask President Rick Santorum for more information on that.

Robust but less than 2008

Interesting results, not the way I thought it would turn out, but hey, not afraid to admit that. I guess leave it to others to gloat. Trump actually lost by a lot. Just a couple thousand away from Rubio. I think we will now see Trump falter a bit. New Hampshire will become interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if Rubio finished strong. I doubt he can win, but another 3 place would keep him going.

Got asked the question, if I was in Iowa, who would I cacus for? I am not sure, but I like Bernie Sanders, I really do, I think he has some extremely interesting policies and ideas (and many of them I really like), also I think he would win against any Republican out there. With that being said, I think he would be an ineffectual president. For the last 6 years we saw a GOP controlled congress stonewall and try to thwart Obama policies at every turn. They continually called him a socialist when his actions and policies are anything but. How do you think they are going to treat a guy wh

Exactly. I think Sir Stewart caught me in a bad mood and I just decided to roll with it. Because why the hell not. Our candidates now act like they are youtube commenters or posting on message boards. Sir Stewart's comment was the equivalent of something Donald Trump would say. Never really explaining or actually putting any thought into it. Not to say my prediction was an super cogent article or anything, but it was something. But that what the race has become. One line statements with no facts or thought. But whatever, I am the dick.

You may be a too sensitive for the internet.

Yep, but purple monkey tits.

What makes you think O'Malley supporters will go to Sanders?

ok, then. I hated when people say you're wrong with no reasoning or explanation. You might as well have said purple monkey tits.

Hillary and Trump, by wide margins. Unfortunately, Bernie winning is a pipe dream.
