  1. yup... easily one of my faves this year i guess Justin is coming here to the cities next month
  2. yeah not too into this one... didn't really have that high of hopes after More Adventurous anyhow, but now i've got even less...
  3. originally is far overrated... some of the best music of all time was hardly that original...
  4. oh no! 600???????? SIX HUNDRED? dude, i started buying CD's in '89 (i'm now 29), and at last count (like 3 years ago), i easily have over 2500+ cds/vinyl, which is probably still a small number compared to some people on this forum... and if you counted albums i have in digital form... jeebus... also, Ryan has much MUCH more Gram sounding work than Easy Tiger... ET doesn't even remind me of Gram all that much
  5. nah, he's on vacation in Montana, and at least types in a readible manner
  6. well, you could start by making your posts actually readible, that would mean way more people would read them, if you care it's not "stupid", your posts actually give me a headache trying to read, i'm not exaggerating here..
  7. yeah... we don't talk about that one
  8. wow, you're gonna make lots of friends here!
  9. she had a miscarriage or two a while ago i believe but finally had a kid in the last few years her first 3-4 records are fantastic. she lost me a bit after that, but this new one is a bit more rockin' and less moody
  10. i hope Ed does something other than Masters of War... not that his version isn't fanastic usually, but still...
  11. just make sure you're listening to the actual tracklist and not the one that leaked online... the actual tracklist is far superior to the one that leaked...
  12. Future of the Left - Curses featuring Falco & Jack from Mclusky. their debut full length.. this isn't that far off Mclusky at times, bit heavier on a few songs, but it's fucking awesome!
  13. absolutely! that and Undone are two of my favorites from the entire Riot Act sessions
  14. no offense, but it's in my bottom 3 PJ album songs... Thin Air, Thumbing My Way, Wishlist
  15. other than the first song, which reminds me of that one song off the last BSS record , it is indeed amazing... i just wish a good rip would surface, cuz there's way too many skips/pops for me to enjoy it fully and i've stopped listening to it until then.
  16. yep. this along with 70,000+ other bridges have been listed as "structurally deficient" for quite some time... so maybe not "no one saw this coming", but it's hardly an irregular thing too. this is probably just the first of more of these things to come unless the US steps it the fuck up and puts some money into it's infrastructure. we've already spent almost as much money in Iraq as it would take to do it...
  17. yeah, it was pretty surreal as it was happening just wondering wtf was going to happen next
  18. this is a pretty stunning album at times... his voice reminds me of Antony at times, only way way less affected...
  19. for sure... definitely the craziest thing i'll ever see them do no doubt. show was a blast, both cuz of the venue and setlist... not even close to one of the best PJ shows i've seen, but the vibe was unlike any other and will be one of, if not the most memorable PJ show for some time to come for me.
  20. server is fine, it seems to be a godaddy network issue
  21. as gogo pointed out, Setlist is a great starting point... fantastic live record, and they're best experienced live as for their studio albums, in order: Dance The Devil For The Birds Fitzcarraldo are def their best 3, then: The Cost Burn The Maps and for true fans only: Another Love Song (their first record from '91) Rich, they've actually opened for Dylan before, in the late 90's in London
  22. the police chief claims that "all those who are able to be rescued have been", meaning the rest likely...
