it's decent, but hopefully just what leaked and isn't a single or anything, as it would tank. i like the style of it, but the hook isn't very memorable, which is basically what Spoon are known for.

had it made the cut, it would have been out of place like I'm A Wheel on AGIB and even moreso sounded like the "token rocker" imo

fwiw, the reviewer doesn't give out the score, or if he/she does, Schreiber has the final say lastly, whether you agree or disagree w/ their review/score of SBS, it's been pointed out plenty in this thread, and we can all agree, that Pfork has often missed the mark w/ Wilco in the past (Being There for one)

Sheryl Crow guesting on Two doesn't help it's mediocre-ness (it's a word, i swear)

hmm... not so sure... i'd have liked some drums... and that piano riff reminds me a bit too much of a Journey song (can't think of which right now)

depends... i'd imagine the biggest headliners at ACL getting well over 100k (a lot of the bigger euro festivals are upwards of 400-500k, sometimes more if it's legendary acts). but say MMJ for ACL? hard to say... based on what they charge normally, i'd say prolly $30-45k

Office 2004 on Intel Mac's isn't too bad, but 2008 will run way better when it's released this fall, as it's universal binary Adobe CS2 apps (photoshop especially) were excruciatingly slow however. CS3 smokes.

http://www.mediafire.com/?1ywtqxlknom 30 second clip of Tarantula this sounds a lot like the latest My Chemical Romance... maybe they're going for the younger audience? :

which is fine, but Mitchum and others like him seem to indicate that the problem they have w/ the album is Wilco's fault, not their own preconceived notions/expectations
