nada i'd imagine some shows may go on sale this weekend, but probably a week from this weekend is more likely for the first ones

no, but i'll crap my pants if/when they do funny that they're calling out chords, haha. they are pretty rough, but hopefully 3 more months of rehearsals will fix that

they didn't show Wilco because Wilco was in Birmingham, AL playing a show the night of the Grammys
-
i'll pay the $50, unless it's a totally shit seat, then i'll see about the next level, but after that, i'll do day of show if nothing good comes in either of those levels
-
^^ cheaper for the upper tier ticket than i expected. i expected $250-300 honestly, to be in tune w/ CSNY, McCartney, etc. not that i'd pay it.
-

now if his solo record (that's been done for 2+ years) would ever come out i've heard 4-5 songs off it, it's really great stuff
-
they're announcing the Tour today at 2pm EST and will perform from the Whiskey in LA: http://www.thepolicerehearsals.com/
-
if you've not heard his first record, One Mississippi, do so. easily his best, and one of the best power pop records of the last 15 years
-
they were way better on the RRHOF in '03
-
The Police's performance was pretty average i must add. but Copeland still owned and looks fantastic. Summers has put on some pounds.
-
agree w/ you there re: NCG being the most uptempo/heavy song on the record. but at least the re-recorded version not only trumps the EP version (obvs) and even their great live version (which it's not that far off from), and should please anyone who doubted why they would put an old song redone on the record. they realize it's one of their best songs live, so why not do it how they have been for the last few years in concert on record... only better
