good live too
-
phew. good to hear, cuz i thought it pretty much sucked too. i wasn't sure w/ the color one, but someone posted that one and stated it was the "final draft". the one that's on various pre-order sites is just a generic white w/ LCD script.
-
i've seen it in color too (white/blue/pink), but i think that one is the final
-
he debuted that one at one of the shows i saw last spring ok, only sort of, he debuted it on the radio earlier in the day, but it was the first performance in front of an audience the version on the album is way better than the Fingerlings 3 one (Scythian especially is)

New Pearl Jam news coming soon...
solace replied to Love Boat Captain's topic in Someone Else's Song
the people that run their fanclub & website are annoying like that -
my thought was, Blue is my favorite color, but if it's baby blue, i'd want the pink, so i figured i'd buy both and decide which i wanna keep (maybe both)
-
No Cars Go is sped up quite a bit from the EP (like it has been live for 3+ years now), it's easily one of their best live songs ever too.
-
thanks Jen, you owe me $27

i was waiting for the server to stabilize first before starting the trackers back up, which seems to have happened, so we're close in that aspect now just need to fix the few small errors (i've done it before, i just don't remember the fix) and bring them back online luckily it's not really "tour season" for Wilco yet, but AF's is starting soon
-
i definitely prefer the studio versions of Dark Matter and Scythian (especially the latter)
-
Trouble is waaaaaay better
-
yeah, Crown of Love is pretty cheesy
-
hehe i can give you a few recommendations if you'd like... i can guarantee my whitebread rap tastes are probably easier to digest for someone new to hip hop compared to more knowledgeable folks
-
at least you must have enjoyed Kick Push???
-
it's good as the album closer, and great live, but on it's own, just never been a big fan of the song. plus i don't really enjoy Regine singing lead nearly as much as Win, she's better suited as backing vocals. but at least she's a lot more in key on Neon Bible so far, so that's good
-
Stef is SO frickin' awesome... the song w/ Craig Finn rules too. i had Lupe Fiasco's record as my fave hip hop record from last year, but the more i listen, i think it might be that one... also, from a bit of searching, it looks like the tracklist as posted is the final one. i'll have to reorder mine. that's too bad, cuz i loved the tracklisting as it was
-
besides Backseat and Une, Funeral was pretty unfuckwithable for me. nothing on Neon Bible so far that remotely touches Wake Up, Rebellion, Tunnels, and probably even Power Out, but pretty sure it'll still be a very worthy/solid follow up but you're right, the live show is where it's at
-
well it's certainly possible it was changed last minute i suppose. i'll post the times of the songs on mine later so you can compare, just to make sure the titles lineup at least, regardless of the order.
-
the tracklist on oink is a bit diff: 1. Fiery Crash 2. Imitosis 3. Plasticities 4. Heretics 5. Armchairs 6. Dark Matter 7. Simple X 8. The Supine 9. Cataracts 10. Scythian Empires 11. Spare-ohs 12. Yawny and the Apocalypse is the one i have
-
3/20 i believe Haley Bonar sings on at least 3 songs. her voice sounds so great alongside Andrew's, especially Spare-ohs.
-
i didn't think it was possible, but he somehow topped Eggs... easily one of the most gorgeous records i've head in a long while... the production is just impeccable for you oink people, it's finally leaked widely as well
