Apple taking over the world...

it doesn't indicate if it's talk time or just usual reagular iPhone useage (for audio only it says up to 14 hours?). if you can easily get through a full day (8-10 hours) without having to charge it, fine, but if you have to, that's terrible. -

i have a feeling the 5 hour battery life on this thing is gonna be a huge sticking point in reviews... -

i personally prefer simple phones with some decent features (mostly bluetooth) myself i think this is way overkill for me. hell i wish there were more phones without cameras too. i'd use it if i was given one tho -

that video scrolls through all the alternate ways to pull up contacts. you'll be able to place a call much easier. but i agree, the interface will take a lot of getting used to for the average person. -
Black Mirror sounds nothing like anything on Funeral... nor do get how it's "predictable", but whatev it's definitely a grower that's for sure. and yes, there are way better songs than the 3 circulating.

yeah, i'm enjoying the full thing quite a bit. short, but a very very solid debut.
-
it holds 500

Rich arcadefire.net there may be up to 4 or 5 Brixton shows as demand is necessary
-
yes it's a totally different incarnation of the band. i think Win & Regine might be the only ones on it if i recall correctly. But there's another person singing (Brendan something?) on a lot of the tracks.

it's a feature of IPB 2.2, which we regressed back from ignore it -
i'm guessing you've not seen them live
-
probably just like the live versions over the last 2-3 years
-
it doesn't sound like the "old single", not at all actually
-
If you watch this amusing video the band put together: You will find out that the album will be released in Europe on March 5th and the US & Canada on March 6th, as well as the albums tracklisting and hear clips of the entire record (the clips are not in order): 1. Black Mirror 2. Keep The Car Running 3. Neon Bible 4. Intervention 5. Black Wave Bad Vibrations 6. Ocean of Noise 7. The Well & The Lighthouse 8. Antichrist Television Blues 9. Windowsill 10. No Cars Go 11. My Body Is A Cage

i think they just canceled the first one outright...

i first heard him at an in-store i went to randomly (Pete Yorn was the main draw, feh, left bout 3 songs into his set), but David totally blew me away. i knew he was opening for Gomez the week after that here, and i had some shopping to do on a Saturday so i figured i'd just stop in for the in-store, holy fuck watch this version of State of the Nation, one take, all David: http://exodus.interoutemediaservices.com/?...delivery=stream i've seen lots of people do the looping thing, but he's up there with the best of them
-
they haven't sent out promos just yet, hell the tracklist was JUST confirmed yesterday (they were struggling with the title of track #8) i'd expect it to leak in 2-3 weeks
-
so you're saying she's a typical politician then?
-
it's better than at least 3-4 songs on Funeral (Backseat for one, without being in he context of closing the album that song isn't very good)
-
and thing is, of the 3 songs i've heard so far, i doubt that's the best the record has to offer by any means...
-
The Postal Service's record is still one of my faves... they were lame as hell live, but that record kicked my ass for the first half of 2003, for sure. and turned me into an electo/indie pop nerd
-
yes, yes you did i'm hoping more people get into it in '07, cuz it would be tragic if it fell into the abyss
-
there will be 2-3 shows in NYC in May, don't worry too much
