The Naked Trucker's friend likes Uncle Tupelo

i've only seen about half of an episode of their show but it was awful -
besides maybe 4-5 songs (2 maybe 3 of which are fantastic), i totally agree... while i've never been a big Blur fan (prefer Graham solo for the most part), i'd hoped that since it took almost 5 years to be finished, and considering everyone involved, it should have been a lot better. how pretentious that they actually have no name too?

they did for Coachella last year too, so hopefully!

totally f'n agree it's FINE, but it is just pleasant, nothing more...

3 day pass is $249 + fees the pre-sale this past weekend (before the lineup was even announced, but there were rumors) was $199 it's quite spendy. it'd be at LEAST a $600-700 trip for me, and it just isn't worth it. unless i get on the guest list for the actual show, no way i can swing it. i just don't like festivals at all either though, so there's that too

here's certainly a few great songs on it (Lullabye especially, Knife, and On A Neck), but on the whole i just found it pretty underwhelming. they were a BIT better live, mostly cuz their drummer is outstanding. i may go see 'em again next month but only to see Portastatic open

Seattle proper? no... Vancouver & Portland tho

they're retooling some of the US tour/venues because of how big the demand for the euro shows was. honestly, some markets in the US, the venues they were/are scheduled to play, i think are a bit ambitious already, but their manager didn't seem to care what i thought i guess :/ there's a fine line between feeding the demand and jumping to venues too large too soon, that a lot of people are turned off by as well.

nope, 2 Montreal, 2 Toronto, & 2 Vanc

yeah, i'm guessing if there is/was any truth to that list at all, it's their "wishlist"
