i hate to bust your chops, but you're wrong... it happens more often than you'd think. hell, it even happened with Intervention off Neon Bible back in December... it also happened with Yoshimi in 2002, and that one even had a different tracklisting. unmastered doesn't mean it's not necessarily the final mix... i think people often confuse the two...

the melody on that part is also a bit reminiscent of The Band's version of "I Shall Be Released" somewhat

yup. it was recorded at Jay's house, he played on it, and co-wrote the first track, "Nothin' No" i enjoyed it a lot at first, but it's grown on me a TON the last month

keep an eye out up your way you should have seen it a month ago when the sides were totally shaved

actually... well built acoustic guitars are as tough if not tougher to smash than electrics. there's a lot of bracing going on there.

there's 7 in the band there were 2 extras playing w/ them on there (French Horn/Sax and Viola)

yeah, they're not exactly on top of their game right now (even though the Sat night of NYC might have been the best time i've seen 'em), even in concert. i'd imagine by May or so, they'll be pretty tight.
