killer! glad to hear

uh... where the fuck is Bubb Rub & Lil Sis? this list sucks
-
fuck me. haven't listened to this in a couple weeks, threw it on today and Spare-Ohs is kicking my ass today... especially when he and Haley harmonize
-
ok, apparently you've not seen him perform live then, because he does everything LIVE the backing music to Simple X is all Dosh playing, no programmed beat at all, analog drums + keyboards/organ looped hardly "bleeps & bloops" to me when it's being played physically and then looped (just like Andrew, only with different instruments) in fact, Dosh is one of the most organic "electronic" artists i've ever seen live. he's not always my thing, but the dude has mad talent, like it or not.
-
only been performed live

came out last year for you guys yeah? i'd only heard Rehab prior to this year
-
^^ seeing them tonight! NP: not totally sold on her yet, but damn if some of this isn't really great
-
^^ Ester Drang are decent, but nothing they've done even remotely comes close to Van Occupanther for me, sorry guy
-
wah? which song? you better not be talking about Simple X... because Dosh wrote the music to that song, and if you know a single thing about Dosh, you'll know that his stuff is far from "default adult contemp drum machine beats"... as for the production, i think the production is pretty stellar on here... absolutely zero complaints from me, and i'm about as picky as it gets in terms of production and audio quality

jealous. not huge on DoP, but that Besnard Lakes record is awesome.

interesting... i don't experience this between work and home here... using Firefox (Win) at work and Firefox (OSX) at home) happening for others? edit: clear your cache & cookies again at both and try now, i might have found the issue

it's been steady lately, and since we're paid through 2007, i haven't felt a need to do much of a "fund drive" push yet. maybe this fall again -

lol. they actually have come up with quite a bit more money than Via in the last 4 months... not to start a war or anything, just sayin' while having both sites on the same server obviously means needing a bigger/better server, having both dedicated fanbases to help out with the bill makes things a whole lot less stressful, that's for sure! -

no different than before server is still paid by donations from Via & arcadefire.net in the last 2 weeks, i moved to a much faster and more robust server than we had prior. it was a bit of a price increase (bout $35-40 a month), but i got a killer deal on it (they sell it for $199 a month normally) we're paid through this year and then some now too -
seeing this show tomorrow can't wait. have never seen Bobby, but loved dr. dog last time i saw 'em.

http://www.nme.com/news/27208 personally i'm kinda glad. the last 2 records have just slowly decreased in quality from Quality Control (a fairly ironic title looking back ), and they were heading into Black Eyed Peas territory.

you'll need to go back and re-visit some older stuff eventually, cuz while i agree it's amazing, the last few have been too
