I'd like to point out that I kinda hate that car commercial with the Clash's version of "Pressure Drop" yet I really, really still like the Clash's version of "Pressure Drop". Not as much as I like the Maytal's original, but c'mon....that's the Maytals we're talking about. P.S. My 2 year old has a cell phone so he can call me at work on my cell phone and tell me he wants to watch trains on TV, and then I can use my work phone to call my wife at work and tell her to call back to the house phone to tell my 2 year old to shut the fuck up about the trains already. It may not be efficient, but it sure is fun to share.

As a 9th grader, my job was to haul vats of Kim Chee out of a giant walk-in fridge/freezer deal, load it on a golf cart, and deliver it to the Kim Chee tent. I am still scarred by this experience. I think part of their schtick is to avoid the usual venues for hearing live music (bars) and play weird, arty spaces. It's tied in with their mellow, acoustic, anti-loud volume thing. I think it would probably be an interesting show to see, assuming their aren't dozens of dudes there yelling for him to play Minor Threat songs.

They're ok...very mellow. He plays a baritone guitar and the drummer plays...drums. I think they also "shush" people in the audience who talk.
