It seems to me like TBS' broadcasts started to look more and more like what Fox does as the division series went on. Last night might as well have been a Fox telecast as far as I'm concerned, with the endless Frank spots and the cuts to the managers after almost every pitch. The only redeeming quality was no Tim McCarver... P.S. If Torre's out of a job, I'd be willing to hire him to stand in my front yard on the 31st and scare the crap out of the nrighborhood kids.

Overall I was not a fan of episode 1, season 2.

There's actually a site, I think it's called RIAAradar or something like that. You enter an artist and album and it'll tell you. The IndieTorrents tracker had a link to it, since you can only upload non RIAA stuff there.

Are they going after downloaders now? I thought they had pretty much been going after people sharing files.

I would imagine p2p'ing any leaked (or recently released) major label or RIAA member albums would have some risk associated with it, regardless of whether it is through soulseek, oink, whatever. My guess is the risk gets lower when you are talking about older or less popular albums, but there's still risk. I've seen the oink invite threads on this board, and its not like you need a secret handshake to get an invite...to think that RIAA types are not members of private trackers is silly. That's just my impression though. I have no facts or anything to back that up.

Unless you're sharing files with someone who is capturing your IP address for the RIAA.

They were kinda like a more NWOBHM (read: less ghey) version of Dokken. I still put their "hit" Midnight Rendezvous on mixes every once in a while...

Tokyo Blade is the first one...they were really good and I don't know anyone who has ever heard of them. Second band is Raven. I wanted to find a picture of them in all their goofy shoulder pads/hockey helmet glory, but I was too lazy to spend much time on it. I doubt I could have figured out who they were based on that pic either...

Szabo - The "ction" thing is a bad play on my name (sean). I don't think Fifteen played any part in it, except maybe subconsciously. I do own Swain's First Bike Ride and the second album whose title currently escapes me though. Although, to be honest, I prefer my Jeff Ott with a healthy side of Aaron Cometbus. Peel - As I find out more about Mr. Peel over the years, I only grow to like him even more. Pedro guy - You're kinda alright, you know that? For a street-teaming SOB, that is.

I still would like to know if Pedro the Lion was really on Jade Tree or if I'm just remembering it wrong. And then, if the answer is "yes", I'd like to know your thoughts on the Swiz discography. I might have more questions later as well.

Wasn't Pedro the Lion on Jade Tree records? I don't know that I've ever heard that band, but Jade Tree has released a bunch of records I really like (Swiz's discography, Lifetime, Jets to Brazil, Fucked Up, Zero Zero, to name a few). I'm not sure that I have a point here either. P.S. Cryptique also hates Halloween, children, and a guy I work with that he's never even met.
