Just came across this. I do love Pete’s voice. It’s always a great complement to the songs. His section in songs such as Naked Eye, Bargain, and Baba O’Riley, and his Who songs ( I’m One, Eminence, However Much I Booze) solo albums are some of my favorites.

My Morning Jacket

We were in 211, near the wall. Frankly the views were A+ and the sound amazing. To give you an idea, three days have passed, and my wife and I are still talking about it.

U2, too. Trying not to be hyperbolic, but it was the best show I have ever seen (not concert, but show). Amazing. Go if you can.

He was great. When he announced a band (and he did Wilco numerous times over the years), you knew it was going to be a great show. Sad day for Chicago radio.

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip down memory lane. I was at the Riv with the Peaches sing along. Great moments in rock…

Last night - Arcade Fire at United Center.

Caught The Who last night in Chicago. Well worth it. I have a few songs on my Lifetime Wish List (Talk Show Host by Radiohead, Feed of Man by Wilco, ahem - done, to name a few), and Naked Eye by The Who. They played it, and it was well worth the wait. Damn. 5:15 also cooked.
