  1. Go to My Computer and right click on the disc and select open. You should see 2 files one is a text file and the other will say Extras. Click on that and it should begin to open. I am assuming you are using Windows.
  2. I searched for a previous thread but didn't come up with anything, but is it just me or does the beginning of Outtamind (Outtasite) sound a lot like the theme to Sesame Street?
  3. I concur. I played a used one at a Guitar Center where I live and was very impressed. As for the Hollowbody, I haven't played one but I do know that I think they are one of the ugliest hollowbodies I have ever seen.
  4. I've got a bike You can ride it if you like It's got a basket A bell that rings And things to make it look good I'd give it to you if I could But I borrowed it Maybe Sid Barrett was on to something?
  5. I love the new songs. The live version of Hate It Here leaves a little to be desired though. I have heard better versions.
  6. I just watched the HBO Special "Michigan Vs. Ohio State: The Rivalry". All I have to say is that the producers must have been OSU grads or something. The show focuses mainly on the 10 year battle between Bo Schembechler and Woody Hayes. I would say that probably 40-45 minutes of the show focuses on OSU. I can guarantee that the portion that focuses solely on Woody is twice as long as the section on Bo. Probably the longest section on Um was the section about OSU fans being ticked off that UM keeps getting some of their players from Ohio. I went on line to see if this was supposed to be so one
  7. And you wonder why tickets are $250 a pop.
  8. Great vids. The Handshake Drugs is a bit different. The bass line is kind of muted which kind of sucks. The bass line is one of my favorites of all time. Weird to hear it in the slower tempo and even weirder to see Leroy rocking the beard. It must have been right at the very end of his tenure with the band. The Jesus etc. is barely recognizable. It is almost a completely different song.
  9. If the Wisconsin game showed me anything it is that if UM plays Oregon again, Michigan will still get hammered. I don't think it will be as bad as the first game, but the defense has shown me no reason to believe that they can stop a mobile QB. As for Carr retiring, I think it is the right time, win or lose this week. If UM wins, great go out on a high note while you can. If UM loses, he needs to be gone anyway because it is obvious that the freaking sweater guy (I refuse to say his name) has Carr's number like Carr did with Cooper. If Carr does retire I can only pray beyond any hope and doubt
  10. A couple of years ago I went to a Detroit Tigers game up in Detroit with about 5 other guys. The game ended up lasting 17 innings and they had stopped serving beer after the 7th. So as you can imagine we were pretty hungry. We walked downtown and found this really fancy bar/restaurant type place. We went in, ordered beer of course, and then ordered 3 pizzas. The total for the pizza alone was over 90 freaking dollars. I don't know if it was the beer, the price of the pizza or what but it was the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life. They were about the size of a normal large pizza in diamete
  11. What the fuck are you talking about. isn't fake. My mommy told me so.
  12. That is funny stuff. I like how they refered to the Carnies as "carnival service personnel". Also, a little tip for the kiddies, take it from a person who was an industrial maintenance man for 10 years and is now an Electrical Engineer - Never, and I mean ever, get on those damn rides if you value your life. They are about the most unsafe things you will ever see.
  13. For what is worth, the acting in Hot Fuzz is a little better. It doesn't come off as so much of a "British Fratboy" type movie. It leans a little more on story than Shaun does. Not as much hitting the people over the head, 3 Stooges, type comedy; although I would say that there are parts in Fuzz that are a lot funnier than Shaun . It's kind of like some British guy watched a Monty Python movie, followed by a Starsky and Hutch re-run, then watched an episode or two of Scooby Do, and then he fell asleep and had a dream. Hot Fuzz would be the dream. I liked it but hat is just my opinion. I jus
  14. Didn't Jones hit .283 w/ 66 RBI? I mean it isn't a hall of fame season but it is pretty good for what will amount to be a platoon guy who will bat probably 8th in the line-up. It will just be nice to have another left handed bat in the line-up. I think the trade made sense. We were going to get rid of Infante anyway. We had no use for him. Does anybody know where Jones batted in the Cubs line-up?
  15. I actually got depressed when I found out that Gilmore Girls wasn't going to make another season. In all fairness though, I only started watching to see the 10 second performances of Grant Lee Philips.
  16. I'm a Seal. That is some funny stuff.
  17. I set my DVR to rerecord it because the first time it was on Sundance I recorded it but the time was off by a couple of minutes and I didn't get hardly any of, what I am assuming is the last song. I believe it is Acuff Rose. This time I set it so it would record 5 minutes past he scheduled end time just in case.
  18. Easy Bjorn, step away from the keyboard and keep your hands where we can see them.
  19. Shoot, when I saw the thread name I though it was going to be Spinal Tap thread. Oh well. I can always use some Sabbath. Thanks.
  20. I'm not saying that Wisconsin is a bad team. My point was exactly that Wisconsin outplayed Michigan. As soon as I saw the schedule for UM at the beginning of the year I though that they would lose this game, mainly because it was sandwiched in between UM's 2 biggest games of the year with Michigan State and OSU, and the fact that Wisconsin is a hell of a team. Michigan's problems were that they played lackadaisical and too undisciplined. As evidenced by the 2 plays where they had Donovan virtually sacked and he managed to scramble out of it, because UM didn't maintain outside contain, and make
  21. I DVR'd it this morning, I'm going to watch it when I get home from work in tomorrow morning. Can't wait. It's pretty sad that out of all the stuff I have recorded in my DVR, ACL takes up most of the used space. I have both Wilco ACL's, The Jayhawks, The Flamming Lips w/Cat Power (War Pigs with the her singing with Wayne is nuts), Sufjan Stevens, and now Arcade Fire. I really should upgrade to a bigger size but I don't want to lose all of the stuff I have saved.
  22. Wow, ryreinhardt was harsh. Great vids though. Thanks for posting them.
