Music in a foreign language? You listen to much?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZviYmTMpBXE I freaking love this band. -
Just had Aurelio's last night. Not thin-crust, really -- more a medium crust. Still, really tasty.

Just letting you know, in case any of you would want to meet up, say 'hey" and all that. Tell you what, you show up for my set and I will buy you a beer (as long as there aren't too many of you). Or, I will give you a copy of my CD. Sad that I have to result to bribery, but, I am not a proud man. Send me a PM for more information, because of VC rules about links and promotion and stuff. But, it would be nice to put some faces to some names and all that. I hope to hear from you.

They sell them at the Whole Foods near me. It's damn good. Cracker crust. Although, I don't know if they ship it out of the Chicago area. Damn tasty, though.

Agreed. Sometimes I crave a cracker-crust pizza. And, on that tip, I loves me some Imo's (St. Louis-style), with sausage. Too bad we don't get any of that around here.

Best pizza in Chicago is Lou Malnati's. Gotta get a pan pizza with the butter crust, spinach, mushrooms, and garlic. It's spectacular. They have locations all over the area, but the original is on Lincoln Ave. in Lincolnwood, just a few blocks north of the city limits.

That Michel Polnareff is fantastic. Where to start with him? -

That is somebody that I have been wanting to get into for a while now, but I just don't know where to start. Thanks for the reminder. -
I am, right now, listening to Gilberto Gil; a 1998 album of his called O Sol de Oslo. He's Brazilian and sings almost exclusively in Portugese. I don't speak Portugese. Somehow, this does not diminish my enjoyment of the album. It used to when I was younger, but when I hit 20 or so, it just started to not matter. I don't listen to opera and I never have. And, you know, as a songwriter, the story told in a song (or at least some sort of meaning) DOES mean something to me. Still... great music is great music and I have been loving a lot of Brazilian stuff, and some Rock en Español, and even some

I am a Hawks fan. But still, I would have no problem with the Canucks winning, as long as they can win the Cup. They're like the Cubs of the NHL, but with even-more-rabid fans.

I've got someone lined up to record this thing. Holy crap, this is really gonna happen! Gotta do some more planning, now!

It's a great song. And I think that I agree with you. But there is no ALBUM that he ever did, that is as solid, front-to-back, as Sacred Songs. Have you heard it, Richard?

There is one track from a Fripp album included as a bonus track -- "You Burn Me Up I'm a Cigarette". Not sure if it's from Exposure or from the unreleased one. Either way, it's a great track.
