I've seen him a couple of times -- both solo/acoustic -- and he is phenominal. So intense. But it's been a few years (like, 10), so I'm pretty stoked. -

Just got this email from WXRT: I met Louie and Wendy at the Steve Earle Studio X show a couple of months ago... which is how I wound up here. Wow. Just wow. Good run.

Summuffabitch. Just more evidence that we are moving backwards... back to the puritanical values that we had previously been liberated from.

Me too, at least when it comes to what my kids see and hear. For instance, when I play a cover of Camper Van Beethoven's "Good Guys and Bad Guys", I change the line: Just get high while the radio's on to: Just say hi while the radio's on They're 6 and 8. Old enought to get it, but not really. They don't need to be asking me why I condone such things by singing about them.

Is there a better guitar song in the history of rock? I can't think of one.

So did anyone watch that trailer?

Without a doubt the intent is noble, even heroic. But there are just a lot of things tha can happen when you start messing around with things like this. No matter what you try to account for, there's gonna be something unexpected that comes up. Not sayin' this is Doomsday, just that this is some pretty heady shit that they're messing around with.

Fabricando Tom Z Seriously, Tom Z?s something else. He is one of my all-time favorites and a total character. At 70 years old, he has more energy than I do at 37. I just heard about this documentary that came out and am wating anxiously to be able to see the damn thing. http://www.fabricandotomze.com.br/ Any of you fans of his? Heard of this documentary? Have you seen it? (It already came out in Great Britain.) There is a trailer at the site that, despite being entirely in Portugese, is extraordinarily entertaining.

No. That's gross. And this poll disturbs me. Especially the results. Ew.

Uncorrected personality traits that seem whimsical in a child may prove to be ugly in a fully grown adult. Lack of involvement with the father, or over-involvement with the mother, can result in lack of ability to relate to sexual fears, and in homosexual leanings, narcissism, transexuality (girls from the waist up/men from the waist down), attempts to be your own love object. Reconcile your parents to you by becoming both at once! Even Marilyn Monroe was a man, but this tends to get overlooked by our mother-fixated, overweight, sexist media. So: Uncorrected personality traits that seem whimsi
