Actually found a few tracks to DL here: http://tapewrecks.blogspot.com/2013/01/red-buckets-cover-your-eyes.html Still need to find a digital copy the "Xacto Knife/Palm Sunday" 7-inch. (I have no working turntable and do most of my listening at work and in the car, anyway.) Bueller?

I only have one of their albums (Feels Like the Third Time) and I dig it bunches. Looks like I'll have to put some into my Spotify queue today and check out other albums.

My Yelp review: -
So, on Sound Opinions today, one of the Desert Island picks was a song from a Hoboken band called Red Buckets. Yes, that was who Yo La Tengo was singing about on their song "The Ballad Of Red Buckets" and I had no idea until today. Anyway, they played a song and it was great. Any of you have any of their albums? Know where I can pick some up? Nothing on Amazon and I can't find any downloads at blogs or anything either. Little help?

Yup. A lot of those are gone now, but there are still quite a few restaurants. -

http://wgntv.com/2015/11/05/yo-la-tengo-performs-friday-im-in-love-live/ And to think that my band did a couple of songs in that very same studio on that very same show a little more than 10 years ago.

Just finished writing one for a new jazz album. A little bit out of my comfort zone, but I don't think that I made a complete ass of myself. I'll let you know when it's published and you can be the judge.

Yeah, outside of a few very specific contexts (such as Woody Allen movies), I'm not a fan of that New York accent/Jewish cadence either. However, I can deal with it here. Show is just too good.
