  2. Yup. Me too. 13 years old, I was a total metal head. These two bands inspired me to pick up the guitar in the first place.
  3. Classic British metal edition: Judas Priest Heading Out to the Highway You've Got Another Thing Coming Breakin' the Law Living After Midnight Diamonds and Rust (yeah, it's a cover but… shut it!) Iron Maiden Running Free Two Minutes to Midnight The Trooper Run to the Hills Wrathchild
  4. No sure if these tweets really do come from a person who knows her or not, but I pray to God that they do. It would make it all so much better than it already is. And already, every goddamn tweet from this account is pure gold. @sitsnexttokimdavisGOLD!!!
  5. Okay. That makes sense. You confused me at first, because I THOUGHT that I remembered you saying that you did something in education. This clarification makes more sense.
  6. So I found out that this is the song that they played this time: "Cary's Here"From the first Hop On Pop record.
  7. The show's host contacted me and told me how much he liked my tunes, and that he picked up a couple to play on his show. So I followed his FB page where, prior to the show airing, he posts a list of a bunch of the bands that he'll be playing that week. Then, to find out which song it was that he played, I just check out the show -- in my case, after it's been archived as a podcast. He's been really flattering to me/us, and not just played our music, but said some really nice things on the air, too. (This is the second time he's played us.)
  8. I have to ask: Are you familiar with the American Nutrition Association (formerly known as NOHA—Nutrition for Optimal Health Association)? My grandmother was the founder of that organization and I just went to the 40th anniversary party a couple of years ago to celebrate. As to what I do: I'm a catalog writer. I used to work at ad agencies, but I find this type of corporate work, while less creatively fulfilling and less fun, a whole lot more stable. And, with a family, that is what is important now.
  9. I listen all-day at work: At my desk On headphones All on mp3, unfortunately. But, that is the most-convenient way, as my new computer does not has a CD drive, and the external one is a pain in the ass. Also, I listen in the car… also on mp3, on my iPod. Again, for convenience. Plus, I like the "shuffle" function in the car.
  10. Thanks! And now... He's playing another song of mine again THIS week! Not sure if it's going to be "Break My Heart" again, or another one, but I am super psyched. And, I guess that it airs in both Sweden and the UK. So… cool! Here's the blurb: First airing Wednesday 7pm CET, 6pm UK, Tune In.Like I said, I'm in good company!
  11. Which is strange, because I always thought of UT as more of a Jay band… like 60 Jay/40 Jeff.
