I love the one from the thanksgiving shows last year I bought tickets but had to go home to st louis. My girlfriend went and bought this home for me. The best part is that the poster is almost identical to the view i have looking out my window. for some reason i cant upload it but its the one with the city scape in the background and the el train going by with Wilco spelled out in the tracks

Things are definately different now with the technology. The internet has killed ticketing for the average or even above average fan. Sure in the past scalpers had their ways of getting tickets, but it was a much more even playing field. You could always find an out of the way ticket outlet and get good seats. For example, I went to a ghetto ass mall to get Phish tickets once and got 3rd row. Now things obviously sell out much faster and the types of shows that are selling out quickly has changed. Basically now, everything sells out right away and scalpers are so eager to make a buck

Evil Horn if you go to NO instead of Chicago I'd be more than happy to take those tickets off your hands As far as scalpers go, I just checked out e-bay and people arent bidding much at all on the Chicago shows. Most auctions are ending without people offering up the 90 dollar a night opening bid.

i dont know, i asked my broker friend about it and he didnt understand it at all he told me thats why he pays somebody to do it for him

i like your though process, but would you really miss out on this run versus coughing up 100 bucks per ticket for one night? i know i wont maybe that makes me a bad person for not doing my part to stop scalpers, but i want to see the shwo

I have a dear friend from college who is indeed (gasp) a ticket broker. I've told him he has a shady job,but he makes great money and enjoys what he does. Anyway, argue as much as you want about how shady he is or what horrible person he is, but my point of this post is that, he got shut out this morning trying to pull tickets for me. this was the hardest ticket in years
