The Friday night lineup especially between 530 until radiohead is horrible in terms of scheduling. The majority of the bands I wanted to see are all overlapping. It seems like they consistently drop the ball as far as scheduling goes. Although the BSS > Wilco is going to be wonderful

Wow I stand corrected I actually hated that the headliner played on sunday night (especially with work on Monday morning). This is great thing. But i'm pretty sure nobody will be playing opposite of them. If so, nobody's going to watch the other band. I love wilco, but if they're playing friday night opposite Radiohead, its not even a question of who i'm going to see.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who this list makes no sense to

I attempted to make a request once and got it. Well I actually sent the request in about 5 times with a story. I requested Poor Places > Reservations in a sappy manner for my girlfriend who is also a huge fan. I told the brief story about how we were driving down to the Friday night St. Louis show from Chicago and how I had turned her on to Wilco after growing up sneaking into Tupelo shows as a teenager. Not only did I get the Poor Places > Reservation request (which Im 1000% sure it was played only because of my requests ) but they also opened with Via Chicago which was pretty

"the wilco fanbase needs to get together and get this down, but the band is gonna need to start playing a lot more king pin. The woos in dmb's warehouse might be the coolest concert thing going on now wilco fans need something like that " again I agree 1) I dont want wilco fans to start resembling DMB fans 2) there is no way tha anything dmb fans do is the coolest concert thing going on fan interaction has always been a part of what makes a band special and what separates hard core fans from the casual ones Phish did a thousand things like this and is part of what made them such a hug

Nobody will be playing opposite of Radiohead, who willl close the festival on Sunday night. I'm pretty sure that the crowd for them will be twice as big as it was for Pearl Jam or RHCP. Wilco on the other hand might play opposite of Kanye, Rage, NIN, or the racantours

can the alt-country thing die already please besides the 5 they listed are there really any other alt-country bands in the world....i agree with Louie for the record, being there may be my favorite Wilco album

to end on a positive note: the residency tickets were much harder tickets to get than the Pageant; I was able to get two for Wed initially. By looking on here and Craigslist I was able to get two for Friday and single tickets for Mon and Tuesday. Tickets will be readily available as the show approaches. If not, CL or Ebay shouldnt be more than 50-75.

Ok a few things 1) quit bitching about selling out in 5 minutes; yeah it sucks but the chicago shows (including pavilion for Millenium Park) were gone in less than a minute; 5 minutes is a luxury 2) how many pre-sale tickets do you think they sell through wilcoworld? 200 to 250 tops? The lines wont be that long

Who knew Euclid records is still in business? Is Hullabaloo still around?

besides whats been already said... i find it very similar to the stone's "torn and frayed" especially with the self destructive nature

Radiohead is pretty much confirmed as the headliner on sunday which pisses me off a bit. I would have much rather seen them play their own 2 1/2 hour show. As far as Wilco goes, I heard that they were very pissed off abotu their 2006 appearance. Apparently they were told they would be headlining a day when they signed up and got shafted with a 4 o'clock slot. I would hate to see them added b/c I would obviously like to see them play their own show but if they were added i'd consider it a big bonus

I love the fact that they've only played I am Trying to Break Your Heart three times this tour and Spiders only twice!!! i was really hoping the winter residency make wilco rethink their live shows and apparently it has im going through one of the archived shows now on wilcoworld and i could have written this setlist down without even listening to the show thank god they arent as predictable

no offense, but you're pretty damn clueless. Have you watched SNL before? Musical guests almost always (especially up and coming bands like Wilco) play their latest releases or singles. Yes Wilco is "up and coming in a sense" they arent playing arenas and arent considered a classic artist which is probably the rare occassion where the musical guest would play an older tune. Most bands on SNL dont sound or look great. I love Phish and Arcade Fire, their SNL performances were definately awkward and mediocre at best. Take it for what it was, cool to see one of your favorite bands on na

I was thinking that the band would really dig deep into the catalog for the whole tour, but I guess not. yeah its kinda disappointing that they arent doing it. I was hoping htis would really shake things up for them. Not that I dont like the songs but I can do without going to a random wilco show and hearing the same setlist everytime.

What Light hasnt been played yet? (was hoping to miss this one) Not for the Season Pieholden and lets not forget: Acuff Rose, Gun, New Madrid? How about I wanna be your dog for old times sake? I just hope since there have to be a large number of repeats, can we please get another Poor Places > Reservations thanks
