But I was running on fumes, and my memory is fuzzy - this was night #3 of a Vegas bender, and I was working on about 1 hour of sleep since Friday. After the show I got in the cab-stand line, and I'm pretty sure I fell asleep twice while standing in line. I felt like Jack Nicholson at the end of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, just waiting for the Big Chief to snuff me out...

It's definitely the best part. When did the NFL draft become so huge? No other sport's draft is like this. Is it because the MLB and NHL draftees most often take a while to make it to the bigs? NBA only has two rounds - those two guys picked will most likely make the team. The NFL draft is like a gameshow. I feel like I'm watching the Price is Right. The only elements missing are the babes and Plinko, and perhaps the yodelling mountaineer game. The top 6 picks should have a shot at spinning the wheel. It'll be a good series. Wings crash the net enough to be too worried about a hot goaltender. Holmstrom and Franzen like to park in front of the goal. It's hard to keep the pucks out with those two blocking your view... Osgood always makes things interesting though...

I was reading an article that the Lions would have pulled a major coup by trading the #1 pick for Cutler, and would have saved a ton of money in the process. Instead they'll be paying Stafford 4x the amount that Cutler makes, all for an unknown asset.

Good luck getting rid of the 1st pick. Nobody wants it. This is the only draft I can think of where no team wants to be saddled with the 1st pick and the money that goes with it.

I bet listing song titles with question marks will convince him.
